Great read
I'm not much of a reader but this took me less than a week to finish. I have been my own boss for years and dove I to a corporate restaurant environment and it's been a struggle. This book was funny and slightly helpful. There are some things I totally took away and within less than a week they are working. I'll say it's not super restaurant focused (bc it's not suppose to be) but despite that, it was well worth the read.

By revoming somw reputation, i will be an evver better book
I was looking forward to see something different, but it was about ass kissing. I have to say it's a powerful skill in life, not just in work.It works not just to my boss, also for my mom, and the guy I like.

Funny yet terrifyingly true
Very readable and strangely so true. Denison entertains and educates. If you are reading Galbraith, Ishikawa, Drucker, Kaplan or Peters get a copy of this for some balance and a different perspective of modern corporations and how to succeed in them.

How to get ahead in the world of Dilbert and Office Space
After a three-year hiatus, Milo Denison, the cheeky iconoclast who gave us “An Expat's Guide to Ireland: Life in a Second World Country,” returns with a brutally honest, marvelously Machiavellian guide to survival in the corporate world, “How to Manage Your Manager: All the Credit, Half the Work.” Simultaneously supercilious and self-deprecating, Denison speaks from experience, successful and otherwise. Real-life examples (with names changed) from a variety of multinational corporations conclusively demonstrate that regardless of your feelings about Denison’s underlying premise, you cannot argue with Manager Your Manager’s veracity. This is corporate life in all its soul-sapping, ignoble, dysfunctional glory, illuminated and explained by a man who managed to escape, mostly intact, to tell the tale.

Swimming with Sharks meets the Office.
Far too relatable! I didn't want to turn the pages because I was continuously taken back to the horrible management I had to endure throughout my time in corporate hell, especially during my own stint as a call centre agent way back. I highly recommended this book to anyone who wants to change their outlook in the workplace - how to flip the switch and how to make the manager the lower minion. The author does a great job at describing the intricate details... I won't give too much away, so go and buy this book now! Just don't leave it open on your desk for your boss to see. 5/5
