I am 76 years old and have long hair. I have tried quite a few shampoos and conditioners, and most conditioners have made my hair feel too oily unless I used very little. I used this conditioning bar as recommended working it from the ends of my hair to the scalp. I worked it into my scalp and left it on a couple of minutes. Then, I rinsed it out, and it rinsed out easily.After blow drying my hair as I usually do, it was softer and shinier. I also noticed my hair did not at all look frizzy after blow drying it. I have used this conditioner and the shampoo bar only once so far, but I am impressed with the results I am seeing. I will continue to use both the shampoo and this conditioner and will update this review if my opinion changes.UPDATE 6/26/23:I have been using this conditioner bar with the companion shampoo bar for about 4 weeks. Although I was hesitant to try bar shampoo and conditioner on my hair, I decided to take a chance on it. It seems the longer I use them, the more my hair improves. I am seeing little to no frizzies and the ends no longer look at all dried. Even though I use a hair dryer and a rotary curling iron, my hair is improving as it seems to have more body.What I really like about this conditioner bar is that I use more of it than I have liquid conditioners, but my hair does not at all feel or look oily. It rinses out easily, and my hair is not at all tangled when I comb it out wet. This in itself eliminates breakage of the hair. I got the coconut vanilla scent and it is a nice subtle scent. that you can't smell after your hair is dry. After using these bars for 4 weeks, they don't look any smaller, so I think they will both last a long time. In addition, there is no plastic bottle to dispose of.Personally, I really like both the shampoo bar and the conditioner bar, and will continue using them. If my opinion changes, I will definitely update this review.I hope this review was helpful for you.

I’ve been using theearthlingco’s shampoo and conditioner bars for over a year. I was excited to see I can now purchase them on Amazon! These bars have transformed my gray wiry hair into healthy, lush curls.The shampoo bar lathers surprisingly well. After rinsing, my hair feels fresh and light. The conditioner bar is equally impressive. It detangles nicely leaving my hair soft and manageable.Another benefit of the theearthlingco bars is their longevity. The bars last for months, making them very cost-effective.I highly recommend all theearthlingco products but their bar shampoo and conditioner are a must. My hair looks and feels amazing. They perform well, are gentle on my hair, and smell great! I’ll never go back to liquid shampoo and conditioner.

At first I did not like the shampoo. But paired with the conditioner it is fabulous. The price it high but it really good stuff.

I was always skeptical of shampoo bars until my mom and I tried this brand, and after a week of.washinf my hair was softer, cleaner, and looking healthier than ever. Not to mention the smell lingers long after washing. I started with the lavender. I want a fan of the rose but I did love the green one for my scalp and it was so nice

I like this company and the clean ingredients they use in their products. I bought both the shampoo and conditioner bar. I really liked both and my hair felt great for about a week. At about the one week point I noticed build-up on my hair. Even with other products I really didn't like, build-up like this has never been noticeable. I had to wash my hair with some ACV to get rid of it. I tried again, paying close attention to rinsing but experienced the same thing every time I used these for a while. They are good bars and I would not hesitate to use them if I was traveling or in a pinch. However, I won't use something consistently that repeatedly builds up like this. Good company. I'm disappointed these didn't work out as good for me as they have for others.

Lasted me a while. Makes hair smell great and much softer. Nice to be able to have a bar instead of a big bottle.

I love this stuff. Easy to use, makes my hair super smooth, and reduces plastics! I like the sandalwood scent. It’s earthy, but slightly sweet.
