Solid aluminum casing. Well made.
This unit is very well made and sounds great! The remote volume knob is a bonus. Only gripe is I wish the 3 adjustment knobs were not rececessd, needs a small screwdriver to adjust.

For the price...... Good Sound
Connected it via low level inputs to a Pioneer Head end. It fills the gaps in the bass nicely. If you take the time to tune up the cross over frequencies from your head end, you can really get a lot of good sound out of a low budget sub.I have it in my Chevy Express work van.I would recommend for anyone wanting an inexpensive, decent sounding (for the cost) sub woofer.

Works great looks great very slim
I installed it in my airstream stereo system . Works great easy to mount and love the ruggedness of the cast aluminum body

Wanted to add fullness, not booming base to my sound
I bought this and was going to install it myself and save money but it was late fall / early winter so I had a shop do it. Love the sound. Adds fullness and richness, not BOOM to drive you out of the car. I turned the subwoofer down so it was not too much base. I really like the sound and other complement me on the quality. I would buy it again.

Needs 8 gauge wire for power to battery and ground
Instructions say to use 8 gauge wire minimum but I Used 10 gauge wire to battery and ground works great but have over heating problems wires are a little warm but amp gets hot and speaker stops working blue light goes off and red light comes on. But after 3 minutes it comes back on again. Only does that if I am got it turned way up for a half hour or more. Have a speaker that went out on drivers door from bad channel on original stereo for my gmc Sonoma pickup(s10)I tied into speaker on passenger side door for this amp/speaker. Does vibrate my mirrors a little when turned all the way up barly notice the speaker out on drivers door any more have 2 more speakers in top of dash too. Hardest part was installing power wire all the way to battery. Ground needs to be as short as possible got it bolted to jack hold down under the amp under the cover directly below it. Used Blue wire (16 gauge) hooked up to a fuse in fuse box for the stereo that comes on when ignition is turned on was too hard to get at back of stereo unit to hook up directly. hooked up the bass control knob makes huge difference some songs need way less bass some more bass helped my over heating problem a little too being able to turn that down from some of the time. Have all 3 adjustments at about 2/3 of the way up. If you have a stock stereo than this thing is a huge upgrade.. Not sure if its overheating because of the smaller power wire or if it just don"t like to be at full volume for extended amounts of time??
