10 adaptations outta 10*&*&*&*&*&
How did I not know they made these, damn. OK, Sony's Pro Duo stciks are a huge ripoff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would have never bought one, ever, had I known there were adapters available. This is the reason I NEVER was going the purchase Sony's latest ripoff, the PS Vita. Sure, you can get one at a reasonable price, but the memory cards for the gear are $50-$100!! I haven't looked to see if someone makes an adapter the VITA. I use a Sony PSP mostly for watching video or listening to music. I have games, but just don't pick it up for that anymore. I can put an entire season of a TV show on it at HiRez 720x480p. Yes, there are better players, and I do own them, like my Sony phone or KindleHDX. I load them all up with different shows. The adapter appears to have a nice quality feel to it too. Am I getting off point? I put this adapter in my PSP with a Sandisk 32gb micro SDHC card, and BAM, worked great. Put the blank card in the adapter, go to the settings, and format the card for your PSP. For less than twenty dollars I got a Pro Duo 32gb card for my PSP, AND, yes AND, it is usable in two other devices I own!!! The Sony Pro Duo is good for nuttin' else but the PSP(for me). I think I paid $60 for my official Sony card some years ago. I'm going to see if I can find a PS VITA adapter now. BUT, I'm not getting one unless someone is making an adapter. Hey, maybe I'll just get another Kindle HDX(better than iPad) with it's ultra resolution screen above 1920x1080.

Amazing for the price
I bought this product for use in my Sony PSP system, using an existing Kingston 8gb SDHC card for a cheap alternative to Sony's Memory Stick Pro Duo. The card has performed flawlessly thus far, though I can vouch that the write times are a bit slower than a regular MS ProDuo. While others have had problems getting the MicroSD in and out, I did not. The only trouble I've had with it was getting the actual adapter out of my PSP. It seems to be stuck enough so that the ejection system that pops the card out enough to grab it doesn't work, but it's still in the system far enough to read the card. I've accidentally bumped the card and interrupted the connection, but the system recovers within a few seconds, so it hasn't hindered gameplay at all. I have been able to safely remove the card, but it required a pair of tweezers to pull it out. I have been unable to figure out why this is, as close comparison to an official Sony MS Pro Duo shows that they are identical down to every last notch. In conclusion, I highly recommend this product to anyone who it interested in it, as it is well worth the minor flaws and inconvenience for the price.

This turned out to be Kingston Brand
For the most part, I am satisfied with the purchase. Thank the God of the computer worlds that we live in a world where MicroSD is a thing. Where they change their format to use in any device using a fitting adapter. I may use my MicroSD in a phone, in a camera, in a computer, in my Nintendo DS, and in this context of my review, in my Sony PSP. This is where microSD and adapters are most beautiful, because the all-functional, versatile microSD can perform most beautifully using this MicroSD to MS Pro Duo Adapter. For 99% of the time, the product performs as it should, and for under $5, without having to buy a real MS Pro Duo card, its well worth the price. The only fault is that sometimes the PP does not want to read the adapter properly. This creates syncing issues. That somehow the music will just stop, or enemiews will stop spawning. Because the PSP has RAM, this does not freeze the game, so you can simply enter sleep mode, eject and inject the card again, and wake the machine up to resume playing as if the issue never happened which is great that you don't always have to turn off the system and restart. You can always jam paper or plastic to help press the card down to minimize this issue, but trust me when I say that its not always a reoccurring one. 99.5% of the time the card does work as it should. Advice to anyone who looks at this product for their PSP... Class 4 memory cards generally play most games. But when it comes to FMV's on say God of War or Dissidia... you should be using Class 6 and 10 cards. + Great for PSP - Only works 99.5% of the time.

Just Perfect!
This is just what I needed for converting a MicroSDHC to SONY's proprietary Memory Stick Pro DUO memory card slot. I had some MicroSDHC (2GB) and (4GB) cards lying around which I was able to use in this converter and the SONY device had no issues in recognizing the memory capacity. The product arrived in a simple bulk packaging (Enclosed in a plastic shell) sent by first class USPS mail - that means you will not get any manual or instructions how to use the product (Who reads manuals anyways) Moreover, all you need to do with this converter/Adapter is to put the MicroSDHC card into the reader slot and put the contraption into any SONY device that needs Memory Stick Pro DUO type of memory card. Job done! I hate when some companies make something proprietary in the hopes of customers to buy their products and technology. Well necessity is the mother of invention. This MicroSDHC to Memory Stick Pro DUO does just that. The received product is similar to what is pictured on Amazon other than the fact that it was from Kingston Company (Made in China) and I got it from a seller in state of California. Good Product Priced right and does its job adequately. Five Stars!

It worked better than I expected
I ordered something like this a while back, but it was a dual MicroSD reader. That thing wouldn't read a single MicroSD card and sometimes the PSP would notice it, but it would say there was an error with it. So, I returned it to the seller and he didn't even give me a refund after many times I contacted him. Anyways, that's what made me very skeptical about trying a different one, but I said screw it I'm going to try another one. Besides, it was only $5 all together. When I ordered it, it came sooner than I expected. So, I popped the a 32GB Micro SD card into the reader and formatted it in my computer like everyone said. Then I put it into my PSP and noticed my PSP said that it needs to be formatted before I use it. So I formatted through my PSP and I was amazed that it actually worked. Despite everyone saying you have to format it on the PC. So let's break it down. The item is cheap, came quick, and worked a lot better than I expected. As soon as they come out with a 64GB MicroSD card, I will definitely be picking that up. OH! The only downside is that it feels like it can break in half. So I suggest you take good care of it.

Works on PC, not on PSP
The item I received was not *exactly* what's pictured. The adapter pictured accepts the micro SDHC card in the center of the MS Pro Duo adapter. The one I received accepts the card from the same side, but more to the right. The markings on the adapter read: Memory Stick PRO Duo compatible micro SD Adaptor (sic.) Anyway, I bought this for use in a PSP and it didn't work. It *did* work on my computer just fine. I copied the contents of the old MS Pro Duo card onto the new adapter/uSDHC card using my computer without any issues. However the PSP refuses to read the SDHC card using this adapter. I used the same SDHC card with another adapter in the same PSP and it worked fine. Therefore, this adapter is at fault. This adapter still gets 3 stars, though, because it doesn't make a specific claim to support the PSP, and it's ridiculously inexpensive, and it *did* work on my computer. I gambled and lost, but it was a really easy loss to swallow.
