Gibraltar GUASB Ultra-Adjust Snare Basket

I own one previously and this one had a longer pipe but measured and cut, it is perfect.

So far its worked well for the snares that i have. However i have a 7” deep snare on order and worry that it will sit too high as its already at its lowest. I have ordered another to modify, but it would have been nice to just have one that did it all.

The first thing I noticed Scott this, other than its heavy duty construction, is this universal joint that's in place of ball joints in snare stands. This system allows free motion like a ball joint, with a super secure tightener that doesn't result in a "memory" from overtightening balls. And that's a good thing!

The down tube’s diameter is 15/16-1”, too big to fit into most brands’ stand-bases and drum rack clamps; too big for my normal Gibraltar, Pearl, Ludwig, and Yamaha snare stand bases. Also doesn’t fit my Pearl rack clamps. My guess is this is to be used only w/ Gibraltar’s Stealth Mini T-base stand or extra-large rack clamps. I’m a fan of Gibraltar hardware but this basket has very limited applications.

Limitless adjustments and the basket fit in my existing Tama tripod base!! It's a great replacement for my old basket

Excellent auxiliary snare/tom mount if you have a rack system. If it was 1-1/2" bigger i could use for my 16" floor tom...works great for a 14" tom or snare.
