El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera Season 1

Takes me back to when TV was decent.

Almost didn't order the show, as season 2 was not on DVD. However, I did. Once I got it, I was ecstatic that it's actually the COMPLETE series, and not just season 1!I was very excited, and for Amazon, I would recommend changing it. I almost didn't order it, and i'm sure other people haven't ordered it, because they were waiting for the Complete Series DVD. :)

I love this El Tigre, ever monday night on Nicktoons they play three hours of them only you have to put up with the horrid Nick cookie cutter so called "Bands" Big time "can't sing without a computer vocal pitch control" rush, and the other equally pathetic acts meant to ween kids onto a lifetime of pre packaged crap created by the music industry that's so afraid of all the new forms of releasing music independently. Ok sorry for the rant back to El Tigre !!! I've been wondering when they were going to release this and a few other classic Nick cartoons. I would have given this a 5 star rating if the price wasn't so outrageously high ! I really what kid can afford that price let alone people like me on a fixed income ? So I'll have to wait until people start selling their used copies and can get on for a reasonable price (Below $20) that seems fair, $40 not to mention a used copy for $50 once you add the way to high shipping... Any ways I know I sound bitter but I really get ticked when companies take advantage of their monopoly, because where else can you get the entire El Tigre on DVD ? No where and that in my book is a monopoly, no choice people so you pay whatever we feel like charging. L.A.M.F

I had been watching this video set for a while, but $35 + was out of my budget for DVDs. However, when the price was reduced to $15 bucks I ordered it ASAP. My kids and I love El Tigre. We watch it when it was on TV & we watched the reruns. This is the COMPLETE 1ST SEASON. Thank you Amazon!

Really nice and well produced set, it does indeed have every episode from the show (as season one was the only one produced). I wish there were some special features or even subtitles (It is in English, I have a minor hearing impairment), but I'm just glad to have this wonderful funny show on DVD.

I have waited almost 2 years for the price to drop from $50! Though I am older than when this was on TV, this DVD is my go-to when having a bad day. It is so amusing with cute storylines and vibrant characters!

This is a fabulous cartoon! Witty, and very well written. I caught an episode at like 3am and was immediately hooked, laugh out loud funny, sadly the series is over and this set is its entirety.A real sleeper and total bargain!
