Works effectively for hours. Almost as comparable to the more expensive Systane I use occasionally. The composition of the drops have been proven for quite some time to be compatible with tears. No burning. No obvious side effects noted.

The best dry eye drop I've found recently
Ever since my cataract surgery 20 years ago, my eyes have been super dry and I use "dry eye" drops often during the day. I really only need a tear replacement -- so all the ones with "lubricant" in them are a nuisance since they often blur my vision when I try them and don't last long either. I had been using a drop that I liked but the FDA removed them from the market because of one ingredient -- and it has been hard to replace them. I've tried five or six different ones, but the good old Visine brand Dry Eye Relief drops ended up working the best for me. (Not the redness relief one, though) -- and the price is great! I buy 2 or 3 of the two-packs at a time, to keep them on hand.
