Q: The back of bag says "no washing necessary." Is this considered a "rinse-free" or musenmai rice for measuring purposes when using a rice cooker?

This is the rice that we use when preparing our favorite Japanese dishes and we do rinse it. It may not be "necessary", but it's probably more a matter of preference.

I have a rice storage bin that you can get at larger import markets. I love it and have never had a problem with any sort of pest, where I did in regular tupperware style bins. Plus they have measurement buttons if you like that. :)
