It works well on heavy material.

Great little tool for punching stitching holes in leather or comparable materials. It is well built, feels sturdy and comfortable in the hand. The only improvement I would recommend is etching the hole sizes on the rotary dial, but even hat isn’t necessary.

I don't know how I lived without this thing. I was using punches to make holes, and this tool saves a ton of time, and works great. I'm so glad I got it!

It’s not even aligned properly, don’t purchase.

Worked great in the beginning for about 6 months on and off use but it recently broke (the “spring”) must have had a weak spot and broke in half almost. For $30 I would have expected this stainless tool to last for years to come.

Using these pliers for hole punching in faux-leather earrings. They have a heavy feel to them and cut great and accurately. Will use them often.

I've only used this item to punch holes in electric tape, but it works very well. It feels sturdy and well constructed, and would definitely purchase this item again. I've docked it one star because it did feel a little "gritty" when turning the wheel with the holes. Also, sometimes when the hole wheel is clicked into place, it isn't aligned that well with the punch, so the punch turns this wheel when squeezing the handle.But still, I would purchase again since it works well.
