I have been impressed with this product. I have been using slow set epoxy for three years with wood working projects, so this seemed like a good answer to some of the small repairs or fillings after the other epoxy projects were in the finish stages rather than wait for 12 hours for the other to cure. It worked great for that. Then I found a few other uses. The most important to me was to patch or plug a leak in a complex bunch of PVC pipe unions and "T's" that would be a major problem to fix. I used the quick cure on two leaks for a crack. I took two tries and it worked. I also reattached some loose trim on my car. Great stuff to have around.

I am a weekend warrior woodworker and work exclusively with rough sawn hardwoods the inevitably have faults and flaws that need to be filled. I i have worked with system 3 and t-88.. They both work great but have their quirks. System three mixes great and applies relatively easy. I heat the bottles up in warm water to increase the viscosity ( I live in michigan and in the winter I cant get my shop above 65 degrees ) which really helps the flow but be forewarned this really excites the setup time to about half. The T-88 is also a great product but is gummy in its application. It almost pulls away from itself when applied but the working time is longer and the end result is acceptable. Either product does the job but I go to system three as my first choice but work in really small batches when I apply. I sand down to 320 to get out the scratches from sanding and do that has a wet application. I have also mixed the system 3 with black aluminous oxide to add depth and volume to fill really large gaps and the results are exceptional and strong. You won't be disappointed with either product but they require practice!!!

Stuff works because it is runny, mixes well so it gets very hot, sets up well. Buy what you can use in a month or buy a larger amount and put it in 1 oz bottles filled to the top, if you don't it will dry up some ,thicken and not mix well enough.

I haven't used a lot of 5-minute epoxies, but this one's as good as the others I've used and noticeably cheaper.
