the only problem we had with this unit was that the controllers have to be set exactly in place for charging which can be a little tricky.

Not only does this thing lengthen charging time considerably, bit you'll be lucky if you can get the controllers to sit properly in under 5 minutes. Do not recommend.

I love having everything charging together right here in the living room. One plug sets the charger up to keep the headset and both hand controllers charged and always ready. The rechargeable batteries in the controllers are fantastic! There’s a built in charging cord you plug into your VR headset so literally, you take off the headset, dry it off, plug it in, and put the headset on the charger. Drop the controllers in their cradle and walk away. The three lights in the front of the charger let you see at a glance that everything is charging, and when they’re all fully charged. I love how neat and organized it keeps everything. I bought one for my daughter and she loves the fact that she can put the set on her living room TV stand and it looks so neat and tidy.

My daughter got the Oculus for her birthday the end of June. My kids split the cost of this charger the end of June. I found out towards the end of July that the left controller wasn’t connecting. We don’t have a Best Buy in our town so I was waiting to take it in for the warranty. This weekend I changed out the rechargeable batteries to regular batteries and now the oculus works just fine. The charger is not working. I’m 9 days past the return window and my kids are out $80. I would like an exchange to see if another one works or a refund so my kids can buy regular batteries.

This really is a good idea, but not a well executed design. The cable to charge the headset is so short that you can't pick up the headset without toppling over the entire unit. And because of how it's designed, it's really awkward to unplug the headset. I also have a custom headstrap and the headgear no longer sits on top of the unit
