This is the 9th Yi camerathat I have installed. All working perfectly. I put a Mesh wifi system in for extended signal range. This camera has a terrific picture quality, awesome night vision. THERE IS A FLAW in this camera for me, Pan and Tilt is not available on the PC monitor. Pan and Tilt works from Android app so I need my phone with me to operate the camera when viewing from my security station at the PC. I am hoping for a firmware update, fingers crossed.

I’ve had 2 of the 1080p Yi dome cameras for a couple of years and this gives a decent increase in image quality, a wider field of view and much better low light visibility when night vision is off. I prefer the look & design of the dome camera, but that’s just personal preference. The only issue I had was getting the camera to scan the QR code on the phone when setting up the camera, took a few attempts, move to a darker area and it helps.

Like another reviewer i already have a couple of 1080p cameras and a Dome X which have all been excellent. I have them looking out the windows watching over the driveway and gardens. But over a distance the image quality isnt as sharp. But to be fair to Yi this isnt what the cameras where designed for. So when the new 2k 3mp version was in amazons sale i jumped at it thinking this might solve this issue.The camera looks good in black. More stealthy than the dome x. Also being black theres not much reflection on the window if like me you place it on a window ledge looking outward.Night vision was spot on couldnt fault it. Only issue i have is with the claimed 2k 3mp camera. To me it was exactly the same quality as the Dome X 1080p which is decent enough but not worth the extra cost.Ill be returning and buying another Dome X instead

I got this as my wife has a heart condition and collapses from time to time and this is so good as when I get a notification that she is not well I can see her and talk to her as I’m on my way home and it seems to calm her down a bit until I get indoors

Although it looks fab, I waited for this to be in stock the moment it came out. Eventually it did, purchased 2. Camera quality is appalling, such as viewing it is orange! The reset button has NO button when trying to rest it, I assume inside the camera the hole the button may have dropped. Hence why I am sending it back. This explains a lot why its never in stock, as there seems to be a lot of manufacturers issues with the actual product they produce. Also, when I contacted YI, with only giving them my name and email they wanted my QR code which I refused as they could breach my privacy Then they told me my other camera (I have 7 active) is not online, so now I'm thinking your spying on me? Scary!

The camera is ok, though a bit pricey. Set up pretty straight forward. Picture quality is good, night vision works well.Mine is installed in an apartment and with the movement function you can reach almost every corner of the room which is handy.The app is far worse now that it merged/changed to Kami, it's too expensive and just not worth it.The motion detection doesn't work half of the times, verified with my relative when we were away: I could see they were there cause I knew the time ahead but no notification from the app most of the times.I would not recommend it and definitely won't buy again. Other brands offer same or better quality products and cheaper app subscriptions. Not to mention the motion detection that doesn't work.

It's not my first yi camera so it was picked up straight away. I haven't tried it at night so I can't comment on the night vision, but the daytime colours are totally wrong. If I can't sort it, it will be returned
