Easy to replace if you're savvy
I'm not REAL savvy, so I had a techhy friend replace the fan as part of a thorough cleaning of my laptop. Works perfectly, and was inexpensive. a good move.

4-pin not 3-pin
Yes, I know it says that it is a 4-pin and I should have been more diligent in opening the laptop up and check before believing what some sites are saying.The fan was packaged well and works great but housing is a little bigger than the one I am replacing so just rewiring will not work.Please do not do what I did, look inside before you buy...

Very happy with the product so far
Laptop started overheating. Opened it up and discovered a small sticker, from one of the parts inside most likely, was stuck in the fins of the fan which caused it to stick. I already removed the old fan so i installed this new one. It is far quieter than the stock fan. Unless you place your hand near the vent, you won't realize it is working. Very happy with the product so far.
