Delicious!
Very tasty-- and a nice variety of kernels you can't get anywhere else. Not all of the kernel varieties are sized or weighted for an air popper, so some may need to be popped in either a microwave or stovetop.

Great Tasting Popcorn with a Variety of Unique Flavors!
This brand of popcorn is delicious! I think it's much better tasting than the other brand sold on Amazon that also has different flavors. I ordered both brands in a variety pack and the other brand was stale. I thought this brand to be a bit pricey, but when you consider all of the fresh varieties, it is well worth it! It would make an awesome gift if the manufacturer presented it in a gift box. But, if you don't mind the person getting all of the bottles in your own gift bag, or other clever idea, go for it! It's too hard to pick my favorite variety in this mix. They are all so good! And so far I haven't come across any un-popped kernals. I have a popcorn popper, a silicone microwave popper and I have been using just plain brown paper bags, or shaking it with some coconut oil on a stovetop pot. Very low-tech & still delicious! I add some shakeable dried cheddar cheese that I bought on Amazon to make it wonderful! Get this variety pack and you won't be disappointed!

Great Popcorn!!
This is an EXCELLENT popcorn and makes a great stocking stuffer gift at Christmas or any occasion. Add some specialty hot chocolate and it's a complete gift for just about anyone. I take a 20" x 20" piece of holiday fabric and edge it on my serger. Set the bottle in the middle, pull up the sides and secure the top (around the lid) with a temporary rubber band. Then tie a ribbon around it, make a nice bow and pull off the rubber band. I keep a box around just in case something comes up I'm not prepared for. Love the presentation of these unusual and fun corns.

Nice way to try popcorn variety.
Pretty good if you want to try a decent amount of different popcorn all at once. I pop in peanut oil using Ikea's Oumbarlig 5 quart stockpot (high smoke point oil and you don't have to shake that much) with a finish of Hoosier Hill White Cheddar powder and butter/margarine. I'm kind of lazy about measuring the oil (enough to cover the pot bottom) and double the amount of corn (2/3 cup total) fills a large aluminum bowl, pretty much. Read somewhere to be sure to keep the heat up with these heirloom varieties so I do - e.g. if you usually pop corn on an electric stove at "8"; try going to 9 or 10. E.g kick the heat up but keep an eye on things. Especially for any kind of mushroom corn like here I think Savannah Gold that pops into round-ish pops IF in my experience you pop with a higher heat than Pop Secret, say. I got lots of nice round balls with Savannah Gold. Use a high smoke point oil. Overall, a fair price. Very much appreciated each bottle is clearly dated as some companies (like try finding a bacon sell by date on those plastic packages) seem to try to hide the "best buy" dates. My popcorn all looked/seemed fresh with reasonable amount of unpopped kernels. Am happy to see heirloom varieties of vegetables and fruits being preserved; as I have the feeling that with breeding for big pops and the commercial market, whatever nutritional/fiber popcorn has is getting lost in the more commercial varieties. Like wild Maine blueberries taste better; roses got bred for a big size but lost their scent, and so on. I don't know if that's true with popcorn but it wouldn't surprise me if heirloom popcorn is just better for you. So ok, vs. the description tho - there's a lot of factors with popcorn and it's a crop so I figure it will vary from year to year, bu personally didn't find Savannah Gold to be super sweet, or sweet at all. It pops up into largish round balls, chewy in a good way, light golden, and IMO would be good for any coatings. Kind of looks like mushroom corn. The two purple varieties IMO are the most crunchy e.g. hulls or bits. I don't have a problem in this area but suggest may not be the best for those with sensitive mouths. I liked the Midnight better than the Orchid but both are on the crunchy side. The most tender was the smaller, but good mouth feel, Baby White Rice. Tho I liked the Red River the best - popped up tender and medium size white, with the very faintest nuttiness like the Midnight. I wasn't impressed by the mixes as one of them looked like a mix of purples with Savannah Gold, and the other a mix of Baby White Rice with Red River. E.g one mix is more crunchy and the other more tender, tho I am happy enough to get more Baby White Rice and Red River. A good gift or for yourself tho I found the descriptions to be different than what I experienced. Overall, at least popped in oil, I'd say these are like a good Amish variety. I'm working my way through every popcorn Amazon carries and these reminded me of some of the available Amish varieties. Do wish the Sunset variety had been available but the description says substitutions might get made. I was pleased with my order and the pop-ability and freshness.

Popcorn Heaven
Ok, I am a true popcorn connoisseur. I love a true "popped" popcorn. I ran across this brand of popcorn in a small shop in Leavenworth Washington. Curious I purchased two different types of corn, White Birch and Savana Gold. What a treat! Light and fluffy and not stale at all. When I reached the end of the bottle I was desperate to find something as good. That's what is so great about Amazon. Type it in, if its out there, they will find it. I ordered a case, 15 bottles. I must admit that I was a bit disappointed when I didn't received 15 different popcorns, but two or three bottles of three different ones and one of eight others. But, not to worry, I will eat them all. Great for anyone that loves a good bowl of popcorn.

Nice, but overpriced
I've been enjoying popcorn anywhere from two to four times a week on average for most of my adult life. Received this set as a Christmas gift. It's not bad, but it's overpriced. Popcorn, even good popcorn, is a pretty inexpensive food. Yes, there are flavor differences but they are subtle and not often noticed. You can usually get 6-8lb bags of whatever you want for about half the per pound price being charged for this set. Granted, you don't get the variety but if you are a serious popcorn eater you'll go through it in short order anyway.

Flavorful!
Love this popcorn. We ran out before our next order could come in so I popped a regular store bought brand... omg they were sooo bland compared to this variety. We had gotten so used to this stuff that we didn't realize how bland store bought kernels were. I don't think we could ever go back. Worth the price!

Tasty, fun variety
I haven't tried them all yet, but I'm making an effort (currently in Covid quarantine). It's really a fun variety pack - different colors (the kernels all pop in shades of white, but you can see the hull color), different sizes, textures, subtle flavors. The only problem I'm having is I use an air popper, and with the smaller varieties, the kernels are so light that many blow out of the popper before popping. That's not a flaw in the popcorn, just cooking method.
