The washer would fill with water and not continue the cycle and eventually drain the water from the tub. Normally when I would open the washer lid the cycle lights would light up, but nothing would light up unless I would twist a knob on the main panel. I figured it was this switch or a board in the panel. After hours of googling and finally finding someone with a similar issue and finding a video on how to put the washer into diagnostic mode to confirm the error code for the switch and also run some tests I decided to order this switch to see if it’d solve the issue because otherwise I’d be calling a repair service to deal with it. The issue was the switch and so far this part fixed the issue! Definitely saved me money!

The product came in wrapped in a plastic wrapper that warns you of the box and plastic are destroyed you can’t return the product. I was like great, so if this product is fake I can’t get my money back. The installation is really easy, it’s essentially plug and play. Plugged it in, and it worked like a charm, used it to replace a GE switch that GE no longer carry so you have to buy a new upgrade kit. This product saved my life, and $1k for not having to buy a new washer. Been in a week and no issues

Easy to instal, works just fine with my washer and as long as I don’t yank the lid open again, I’m sure it will keep working!

Won't work with my GE GTW335ASN1WW washer. The lock won't open up enough to allow the latch to enter. Tried to see if the latch could go in, but the tabs holding it in place exploded off rendering it useless. Waste of money.
