Worked as a Replacement
This hood strut fit my 2006 Audi A4. It was fairly straight forward to install, though I did take it a to an acquaintance who has an autobody business for installation.

Good fit in length, attachment, and strength slash firmness for my b7 audi a4.As a tip, the clips can spin around so get familiar with them and make sure they're in place before you're leaning over an engine and unsupported hood.
