Animal Friends of Pica Pau 3: Gather All 20 Quirky Amigurumi Characters Paperback – December 1, 2022

I've already made two amigurumi from this book, and I'll have to make at least a few more. The instructions are very clear, and I'm in love with the designs. Super cute and make great gifts!

I’ve made many of her designs from her past books, and am excited to make more! They are easy to read and understand, and can be made using inexpensive cotton yarn. Love how they’ve all turned out thus far!

This is a CHUNKY book! There's Soooo Many Patterns, all a Lil quirky. I love it, and have book 2 in my cart as I write this. Easy to follow patterns; they get more complex as you go, but she holds your hand all the way.

Loved the book! Beautiful colors, photography is absolutely amazing. I like easy step by step instructions with lots of pictures. I also appreciate that there are patterns for different skill levels, rated from 1 to 3 stars. Someone could easily start with the 1-star patterns and move up to the 3-star patterns to improve their skills. What I dislike the most it is sewing, as many crafters do. Yet, I totally enjoy the process of creating amigurumis, that being said; assembling and seaming will not keep me from making amigurumis. Honestly, it is wonderful to see a handmade toy appear before my very eyes when it is finished.

The patterns are really cute and unique! I love the ones with sweaters / clothing / accessories especially. Out of the 3 books this one has my favorite patterns!They looks extra great when made with the pica pau / cori cori yarn.The stitches are not the most complex so nothing is too hard, though not for complete beginners. Instructions are clear, book is great quality.The only feedback is I wish there were instruction or tips for how to make things look “good”. For example, stitches across rounds tend to be diagonal - I still haven’t quite figured out how to make them vertically aligned (that’s why the lemur’s face is a bit weird). Or when making circles how to make the edges look smoother.Otherwise these are really beautiful and unique amigurumi patterns!

Excellent instructions, amazing photos and explanations. Awesome designer. There are three books by this author. If you do amigurumi, you should own them all. Designer has a very distinct style, and she is so good at teaching you new techniques and she is very good at communicating things with her readers! Buy it now!
