I think it should work well because it’s not sheer.

What are the washing instrutions for this gown?

Don't have one at home in order to look at the label for washing instructions, but I believe the gowns are 100% polyester. Call Amazon, and I think they can tell you what the label says.

Where is the size chart?

I don't know if there was a chart but I tried to get the largest possible and it was too small for a size 22 woman so I always leave it hanging open.

what size should I order if i’m 5’6 290 Lbs

Your girth will cause the length of the gown to “shorten “. You may need a larger size than you usually wear in order to accommodate the length you need to match the others wearing their gowns. I hope this helps.
