These shelves are easy to assemble. I’m one that doesn’t like to read instructions, but hey, I got it together. They are a shiny, smooth black color. After assembly, I was concerned as to how hard the shelves would be to slide back and forth. To my surprise, they worked great. In addition to the shelves sliding so smoothly, they are very sturdy, no cheap stuff with these. Worth every penny. Then it was time, to take out all the stuff under the sink and get it organized. For 5 years, I had dealt with bottles on their sides, soap in the back corner, trash bags just stuffed under the counter. Well, I pulled everything out. I created 2 piles; 1 was “keep” and the other “throw away”. To my surprise, I only had 3 items to throw away; container of old stove grease (oops), old baggies, and I think an old potato. Hmmm! The “keep” pile was fun to organize. First thing, I did was, arrange all cleaning bottles like soldiers marching; tallest to shortest. So the tallest would be in back. Then 4 rows later the short bottles are up front. I did the same with the lower shelf. Now, in the front of the lower shelf; I had those green scrubbies and wire scrubbies, that I placed in a plastic container. After all, I waited 5 years for these organizers, no way was I gonna get water spots on my new shiny, smooth, black organizing shelves. Oh and the best part, I had room left over. I was able to put my dishwasher pods in a plastic counter too. It was perfect. I put those in the front on the top shelf….I didn’t tell you; I’ve had back surgery, so just the thought of having to reach down to get a dishwasher pod was painful. I sat back now and admired my organization. No longer, did I have bags just thrown into a wide open space under the sink. Now it’s organized, clean, easy access to all my cleaning products. The only reason I have cleaning products under the kitchen sink is that the products I purchase are all non-toxic. After all, you don’t want to take a chance of a child or animal getting easy access to toxins. Well, I hope you’ve enjoyed my lil journey of cleaning under my sink. I was impressed with the quality. It was easy to assemble, but make sure the tracks are going the same direction (top and bottom) or you will be unscrewing and flipping. Lol. Adjustable height. Good purchase.

Very useful and works in pantry. The instructions are not easy to follow. Once I figured out one, pretty much without the instructions, the second one was a piece of cake to put together. Everything did fit together easy and match up. Only giving 4stars because of the instructions. But if you are not familiar with putting together this type of stuff, just be warned the instructions are not helpful. The product itself does what it is supposed to do.
