I had been looking for a lamp to simulate daylight for me, to help get me through some mild Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) symptoms during our very dreary, foggy winter months. I found it with this one! One of the many things I like about this lamp is that it sets on the floor, so I can set it next to my easy chair and use it without having to talk up table space. Its base is solid so you can adjust the bendable portion of the lamp and it doesn’t tip over. I also really like that it has 3 lighting levels and 3 different light tones. I use the bright daylight during the day when I am using it as a remedy for SAD and the soft white lower light level setting in the evening when setting in my chair to read a book. It’s easy to set up and both the height and lamp angle are fairly easy to adjust. The height of the lamp works perfectly next to my chair. The design is very modern looking, so it does clash a bit with my transitional/traditional decor. I do wish they offered it in a more stylish design or maybe a dark bronze color. The utilitarian white isn’t very pretty with my decor but the functionality and versatility of this lamp far outweigh the lack of color/style options.

Easy to use( bright light

The media could not be loaded. Nice looking, sturdy and easy to assemble. As pictured it stands 47 inches from floor to the top of the white pole. The goose snapped light as I have it set is 56 inches off the floor and as you can see it illuminates my 40 inch art desk fully. As the video illustrates, the three sunlight settings are very nice and it's nice to have the soft light setting. Also easy to change between light settings. Just press the button.

I wanted to give it five stars—I really did, but it was a pain to put together. I purchased one, and I loved it! So I bought the second one. The inner cords are not the same. One was long and coiled, and the other had a shorter coil and was shorter overall. They were difficult to thread through the tubes and then attach to the base. But once you finally wrestle everything into place—boom! These lights are fantastic. The solid base, adjustable brightness, color, height, and functional gooseneck make this a great product. I bought 2!

THE BAD"cant put the lamp to the base no matter what I try what a piece of crap design." That was my original review of the lamp on the day I Purchased it. It took me 2 hours to figure out that it was a mistake on their instruction guide. There is NO WAY to put the pole in the Base if you follow the manual. There are 3 steps in the instructions. YOU CANT DO STEP 2 IF YOU DON'T DO STEP 3 FIRST. You have to extend the pole before you can insert the pole in the base. I called Customer service and they were no help. After waiting 5 minutes they said no one could help me and to leave my name and number for someone to call me back. Customer should not have to figure our why its NOT working and then realize the instructions are backwards.THE GOODI would have given 5 stars if not for the frustration of trying to put the lamp together. It is quite easy actually IF you do Step 1 ,3 and THEN step 2. The Lamp itself is great for the price. Wish I would have had it during the winter. Really good lamp with different environment modes and 5 choices of light strength.EDIT on 3/11/23. ( purchased 4/2022) It no longer works. It only lights at the weakest strength. There is no way to change the bulb. Why make it non replaceable if it only works for 11 months? I have downgraded to a 1 star. Huge rip off.

This lamp is very good, provides bright light

I use this lamp every morning as part of my morning routine. Living in the north east with our long winters and lack of sunlight I commonly feel seasonal depression, so I wanted to give this a shot to see if it could boost my energy and mood. I do notice that I feel more energized when I use this lamp. It definitely gets a very bright, but you can lower the settings and change the hues to your preference. When I first tried to assemble the lamp, I did have some difficulty, but if you keep the two poles with one inside the other and feed the wire through, you can connect it to the base and slide both poles in the correct position. It just took some trial and error to figure it out. Definitely recommend you buy one!

Tall. Flexible. Plenty of options on the light settings. A little wobbly at the base, but other than that, a very helpful product for your eyes, energy and overall well being.
