Fitting guide very inaccurate!
Was apprehensive to pull the trigger on these shoes, mostly due to cost and associating that with quality. I am very pleased with them, though. The price point makes them a steal!First the good: I have VERY flat, low profile feet, kinda like skis. Plus my pinky toe has started rolling over and goinng inward. THese shoes provide a generous toe box, and even loosely laced fit my feet like a glove. It was weird walking in them at first as this is the only pair of 0 drop shoes I have worn, almost tripped walking down the hall as if my feet didn't know how to work. After a couple minutes I adapted. My feet feel more "connected" to the ground, with exceptional grip and fit. My feet are very comfortable and not tired after a full day at work on my feet. I will be buying more in the future. The bad: This doesn't take away from my fondness of the shoes, but the top of the toe box (near the laces) somewhat folds in, creating a look of shoes that dont fit well, despite them fitting perfectly. So if you are someone who prefers appearance of functionality, this might drive you crazy. Tall profile feet may eliminate this, as they would fill out the shoe more. Additionally, the fitting chart for these shoes is whack! I measured my foot heal to toe, based on their recommendation I should order a size 8. I read another review that indicated I should order my usual size. So I ordered an 11 (im an 11.5 mens), and they fit perfect!Overall, great shoe, even better value, time will tell how well they hold up to daily wear and tear. Im impressed so far and would recommend to freinds.

It's a great shoe
Here’s a smoother, more polished version of your review while keeping your tone and core message intact:---This is my go-to shoe. I like the way they feel, the way they look, and the price point. They don’t last forever—I usually get around 10 months to a year out of each pair—but that works for me. They’re simple, they’re shoes, and I can reorder without overthinking it. I really like that. The fit is excellent, and the traction holds up well. They offer the same functionality as more expensive wide toe box shoes, just at a lower cost. They even feel like they have a bit of stretch, which I appreciate.Overall, it’s a solid, functional shoe. It’s flat with minimal arch support—but that’s exactly what I’m looking for.

Great Cheap Barefoot Shoes
The size was a little off. Had to order a new one with a different size and return the first. They tend to run a little large. Other than that the shoes are great, they are light and comfortable. Been wearing them daily for a couple of months now and they a very well made not much wear and tear as of yet, and they still have very good grip. Since it is a barefoot shoes it does take a little getting use to when wearing constantly on hard surfaces.

Great job Whitin!
I did research the reviews very carefully to determine the correct size for me. Thanks to a reviewer named Jon - I was able to get the best size for me first time around!Ironically, with problem feet, post ortho surgery etc. - these are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever bought, besides that, they are pretty. A physical therapist once told me that I should wear sneakers that were more in touch with the ground so the muscles in my feet would flex - hmm. He was not in love with my Hokas. In any case, I really don't think that these sneakers would function for me in terms of walking unless I put an insole in them, as my feet getting in touch with cobblestone was somewhat painful. I put in a lightly structured memory foam insole - which is very helpful. There is enough room in the sneaker to play around with the insole of your choice if you buy the correct size. For me, it is a great kick around shoe that just happens to look terrific. I have received compliments about the sneakers and answered questions about where they were purchased. They are extremely light and I do not feel that my feet are weighted; nor do I feel as if they are making me high, and not in a good way, as my HOKA's.All these other shoes I know are terrific, but in terms of my limitations, these Whitin sneakers are very appreciated, even though my barefoot days are over!

Great shoes!
This shoe fits my husband’s wide size 14 foot perfectly. He has a tough time finding shoes but these were a hit immediately. He loves how it feels like he is walking barefooted. There is no arch support, easy to break in and nice quality. He has already ordered another pair. They are very squeaky on tile and can be noisy as he walks. The comfort outweighs the noise.

Great Indoor Martial Arts shoe
Love these shoes. They tend to last quite a few years with regular training use (albeit on mats). Mine are 3 years old now and no sign of coming apart yet. I made sure to book mark for when I need them again as my own school doesn't sell this brand. They're lightweight, soft and always found them very comfortable.

These are lace-up slippers, I can not call them shoes.
Its high praise led me to buy this, with claims of extraordinary comfort and unique design. However, they are only laced-up slippers. This was immediately obvious as I was wearing house slippers when they were delivered and I put them on. For laced-up slippers they are absurdly costly. They squeak very loudly on the smooth floors of my home, on both tiles and finished wood. Maybe this will wear off. I have no reason to expect more durability than non-laced slippers. They don't provide more support than slippers. They don't cushion more than new slippers. They are about as light as slippers. I will avoid wearing these while I might drop something heavy or dense, because they will not protect my feet more than slippers do. If they were called "laced-up slippers" I'd rate them 5 stars, but as shoes or sneakers they are worth only 2 or 3 stars, they're on a slipper-y slope.
