Laptop only had two ports for USB so this is very handy when I have more needs for additional USB slots

Works great for project -- Tesla Model X Dashcam and Sentry Mode use. It allowed me to use a High Endurance SD card and gain an extra USB port. Unfortunately when I was putting the SD card in, the aluminum housing slid off. It's still functional, I'm able to push it back in, and it stays in place so I'm not returning it at the moment. If it does move, I'll just add some glue in the future.

only 1 card reader port is not working. Other than that item works as described by the seller. Maybe I received a defective item.Edit: seller did replied that 1 card reader port works at 1 time, I checked and it worked like a charm. Thanks seller. This is worth the money, I do recomend the product.

Not as compact as a hub that's a single bar but there are advantages to having each port flexible.

Revision to original review: after a second replacement hub of a different brand also did not work in my configuration, further debugging showed that it worked without the downstream hub in place, so maybe it is the combination of the two that does not work. Confusingly, it also works with a different hub downstream of it in the normally failing configuration. I will try more hubs and try to guess who actually is at fault, but...you are likely to not run into my problem.Original: I wanted to replace a USB hub that was starting to whine and found this little guy. I plugged in my keyboard--worked fine. I plugged in my mouse--worked fine. Then I plugged in a crypto device, and I still though it worked fine...until I actually tried to do some crypto. Then I just got timeouts without errors. I tried the crypto device in all three slots and both by itself and with the keyboard/mouse attached. No joy. Maybe it will work for you, but why roll the dice?

I purchased the USB-C with SD card reader, and have no complaints. I have a C socket on top of my tower, but need As for webcam and headphones, and this delivers perfectly. The card reader is an added bonus, as I don't have one of those built in.

This hub is in fact space saving, tinier than other so called slim ones. It's all because the connectors bend, bend flexibly along with the tiny space you put it in and being plugged in, like the glovebox of Model 3.

I had never seen a hub as a cable before. This thing works wonderfully and doesn't require extra power. Cable length is good, and it fits behind my pc well.Excellent deal for the price 5/5!

I was about to buy the other USB reader, the one with three USB built in, but I decided to buy one with the card reader. It was an excellent choice, since one of my computer doesn't have a built in card reader, and if they did it was built into the back for my other computer.

First of all I asked the question on here does it work with android and I never received a response so I purchased anyway.This item was plugged into a Nvidia Shield with 3 USB Flash drives attached for different retro gaming consoles. Es file explorer picked each one up and I was able to complete the task. I cannot recommend this enough. So now you know Yes it works with Android.

I used it with my Macbook, poor read/write speed.

Used this to connect wireless headphones, controller charger and wired controller to ps5.Used back usb port so ps5 now looks neat and tidy with all the cables out off view.Excellent price too
