Imperial Tool 370FH Triple Head 180 Degree Tube Bender, 3/16”, 1/4”, 3/8”, and 1/2”

I bought these because I needed to bend 1/2 O.D thin wall steel. The product help up great and it’s good enough to where I probably will not need to buy another one

This tubing bender is fantastic. I should've bought it years ago. It's easy to use and well built. I watched video on YouTube trying to find out exactly how to use it. I decided to map my own marks on a custom device that I'm making. It was easier and faster to make my own reference marks. The bends are smooth and there's plenty of leverage for 1/2" aluminum tubing. I have steel tubing, but have not yet made any bends. If necessary, I can always add heat to the steel to make it easier to bend. My only complaint is that this bender is made in China. The company goes out of there way to talk about Ohio heritage and long time ties to United States manufacturing, but quietly hides the fact that they outsourced this bender from China.

Excellent tubing bender, plenty of leverage for bending 3/8 stainless tubing. Only issue is that the bending radius is too large for some applications, trying to bend fuel lines to work with a Holley Carburetor and Fuel Pressure Regulator is more difficult due to the larger bending radius. Not a fault of the tool, just something for a potential buyer to be aware of. If the bending radius had been 15/16" for 3/8" tubing, the job would have been much easier. Very smooth bends, no kinking, used on 0.028" wall and 0.035" wall stainless tubing.

I am changing my review because after bending about 15 - 90 degree bends, it is broken. First, the handle hinge pivot broke. It is like a big rivet, and the flared part just slipped through the hole. I replaced it with a bolt, but I still can't use it because the little adjustment brace end split. This prevents it from locking into position for the different size tubings.In short, after a little bit of use, it is garbage.See the attached pictures.---------Here is my original review:This is a sturdy, high quality, American made tool.Easily bends 3/8" .035 wall seamless DOM steel tubing.I also bent some 1/2" .049. I recommend mounting it to something sturdy for this, because you might need two hands. It did make nice clean bends.Read the instructions, and keep the top (sliding) shoe lubed and the lower curved shoe clean.

Needed to bend some 1/2” stainless tubing for a project. Tool worked perfectly. Very pleased with this purchase. Would recommend to anyone who needed to bend tubing for a very reasonable price.

Casting lines directly in the middle of the dies causing an impression in stainless, and nicopp material. Needed this bender for an urgent project so I was forced to clean up the casting with a file, and sand paper. Works well otherwise.
