I would like to give 4.5 stars.I purchased the 8 oz bottle after I rediscovered two leather knife sheaths at the bottom of a box in the basement. I hadn't seen these in at least 15 years and, while they were in good shape when they were put away, now they needed some help. The applicator worked well to get into the seams and the product went on smoothly. It definitely darkened the leather, even a little more than expected, but considering the sheaths aren't meant for decoration, no big deal. I would say this used about 1/4 - 1/3 of the bottle.I then chose to apply the product to a 20ish year-old black leather Wilson's bomber jacket. I don't think I had ever used any product on this jacket. I did notice that after a bit, the applicator didn't seem to hold as much product so I was going back to the bottle more frequently. Again, not a big deal. The jacket absorbed the oil very quickly. Since it started black, I didn't notice any color change this time. I didn't quite have enough product to completely cover the jacket, so the inside of the zipper flap and the cuffs didn't get any.Both sheaths and the jacket look much better than before, now about two weeks later. As the title states, I was a little surprised that I wasn't able to cover quite as much material as I originally expected, so that is the reason for the 4.5 stars. Maybe if the product was just a little thicker that would make the difference. Overall though, a definite recommend!

I believe in taking care of the things I own. This helps me do that. If you have leather boots/shoes it works great on them. I’ve used it family members purses and it makes them look great. Also works well on leather furniture. Don’t mind spending money on something that will make other things I own last longer.Some before and after pictures below.

I didn’t think anything could be better than their Heavy Duty LP. This is. Somehow it sinks much deeper into leather, and makes it really soft. Great product!

Used this on 2 pairs of boots. a Newer pair was in need of some oil and did turn a bit darker. Boots that were given to me had sat in the closet for 12 years and was very dried out, crackled like plastic. after 4 coats, done on separate days, they are supple and like leather again. darker but still cute.

The product itself is awesome! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the box was leaking when I got it. So maybe tighten the lid tighter before you put the gripper tape on? Other than that good product!

So far so good. A dozen years ago I purchased a leather coat while touring Florence, Italy. It has always been my go-to coat for any occasion, but has been looking dried out and more orange than brown. You can see by the first photo it was discolored at the base and pits from years of wear. The second photo shows the color change, while the 3rd and 4th show before and after the really dried section. Overall thrilled, and I'll update in a week or so.Last photo is about 10 weeks later. If you're into the leather smell, it is INTOXICATING! I get so many compliments about the condition of this 12 year old coat. What an honestly amazing product.

It’s really good. I used it on my leather couch with the excellent results. I had tried quite a few other oils and this was by far the best.

Easy to apply, though it darkens leather.
