Excellent quality hose clamps! I bought these to replace some poor quality hose clamps that came with an Air oil separator (AOS) for my Subaru WRX. These clamps are thicker and wider than the ones I replaced them with and just felt much stronger and better quality overall.

I was trying to extract a confession from a neighbor the other night, but couldn’t locate my thumbscrews. Just when I thought I’d have to skip the fun part, I thought; Hey, why not use a hose clamp? Glad I listen to those voices. A couple hours later, I had the confession and was on a relaxing drive in the country. These clamps saved that night. I’ll always carry a few extras in my toolbox. Oh yeah, they are also great for attaching hoses.

Purchased 2 from a local auto parts store. They stripped out when using. Got these from Amazon. And they were better and less expensive. Used on a old snowmobile gas line.

Purchase for convenience of not having to waste time at a home center

These are almost twice as wide as my old clamps that were not getting the job done. The screw action was smooth as silk. No leaks at the chiller for this brew day! The funny thing is that the Amazon van showed up 15 minutes before I needed to chill the wort! Perfect timing!! I am making up a set of hoses for the glycol chiller used to cold crash the beer after it is fermented.

I've used several of these to replace the old wire type clamps. They seem to do the job well and I was able to reef down on them pretty good without any slipping. I would buy these again.

Basic clamps, were not well constructed, and sharp edges cut hose. Decided against using them and bougt replacements at hardware store for $1.79 each and much happier.
