Q: Can these be used for any vector lighter?

Probably. I’ve used it on small cigar lighters as well as one named “The Torch.” It works fine with all of them.

Q: did you receive the 14x or 5x filtered can and was the nozzle tip metal or plastic?

there is a lot of confusion about refining and filtering. Refining is separating the crude oil that is pumped out of the ground into different components such as gasoline and of course, butane. This product is refined 5 times to get mostly butane instead of having other fuels in there. Then it is further filtered 14 times to remove even more impurities so you get a clean burn and a clog free lighter. Every can of Vector butane is refined 5 times and then filtered 14 times. I hope i helped people understand that everyone is getting the same butane.

Out of curiosity I went searching for your tool (MJ300) and found this info. http://butanetorch.taiwanchinamanufacturers.com/Iroda/rc-30-iroda-refillable-fuel-cells-for-mj-320-mf-351-mf-352. The lighters are compatible replacements for your tool and they can use standard butane fuel according to the link. This refined Butane may be a little more expensive to use but I don't think it would hurt either. This butane is more applicable to higher end lighters

They don't have to go out of their way. Why they don't provide it is a mystery to me, sorry.
