Second Puracy Product I’ve Purchased
Like the body wash, it’s a great product. Lathers nicely and aroma is subtle.

Good soap, would be excellent if it foamed up better.
Originally a four-star review. Updates at the end...I purchased the 64oz foaming hand soap to refill foaming bottles from a well-known bath store. I liked the fact that the Puracy brand cares about putting good ingredients in their products. That wasn't my primary motivation for purchasing this but it was a positive added benefit.Overall, the hand soap is a good product and the scent is fair and not overpowering. The reason I'm taking off one star is that the soap doesn't foam up as much as the other soap that I was replacing. As a result, I often find myself having to dispense twice to wash my hands so the 64oz bag went quickly since I'm using twice as much each time I use it.Update on June 20, 2017BTW, Puracy has excellent customer service which is uncommon these days. I think that deserves at least another 1/2 star. So overall, I would rate this 4-1/2 stars out of five.If you are ok with having slightly less foaming action, then I would definitely recommend this soap.Update on July 13, 2017We are now about a third of the way through our second bag. I continue to believe that the benefits of this foaming soap outweigh the only defect that I think would make it better. The benefits being the quality of the ingredients and the piece of mind knowing that we are using a product with natural ingredients. Like I said before, the only defect is that it does not foam as much as I would like. However, the fact that it is missing the artificial "foamers" of other soaps is a side effect of wanting a natural soap and I can live with slightly less foaming action. The smell is pleasant and as others have said, it leaves just a slight scent after rinsing off. I no longer pump twice to wash my hands. Instead, I grew accustomed to rubbing the foam in my hands before putting them in the water. This works great.Guests have commented that they like the soap and I've yet to hear complaints. Therefore, I'm throwing in the other half star and updating my review to five stars. For a natural foam, I do recommend this soap.

We like it and love the scent. But as some review suggests, a bit watery, as in the foam does not maintain shape.
--- Update 08/08/2018I've finished the soap that came with the dispenser and have now refilled them using the "Puracy Natural Foaming Hand Soap Refill" and for some reason the refill have better consistency, as in more solid foam. Not sure what the difference is though. My recommendation would be to try the refill, at least, to see if you like it better.--- Original ReviewWe've been switching back and forth between Seventh Generation Liquid Soap and Babyganics Foaming Hand Soap. My wife wanted to stay with the foaming hand soap so we want to give Puracy a try since we already use their Baby Shampoo & Body Wash and love it. What we love about Puracy is the their product is natural and their scent is subtle. Our kids have been using it and even our 2 year old doesn't have any trouble using it.One thing I am slightly peeved about is that it doesn't maintain a solid foam. I think this is what others are complaining about when they say it's watery. I've used my fair share of foaming handsoap and this is the first time where the foam didn't maintain shape. It slightly breaks down and it starts to slide down as soon as you move your hand to starting applying it on your hand.I've read other negative reviews and the founder's reply to those comments that mention watery consistency is that it's is expected from foaming hand soap and that we should use liquid handsoap for thicker consistency:---* Liquid soap is for standard dispensers and will create a thick lather when agitated with water on your skin.* Foaming soap is for foaming dispensers which mix air with the watery soap and pump foam directly into your hands.Natural Liquid Hand Soap (thick, like honey) - http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OBRIVSQNatural Foaming Hand Soap (thin, like water) - http://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HMYBFLY---While his description is true, for his product, I feel like it does not properly answer why the consistency of the foam from this product is different from other foaming handsoap that consumers would be used to from other brands or even those foaming hand soap from dispensers in public bathrooms. Does the "water soap" have more water content? Or, does using more natural ingredient make it difficult to have the foam maintain it's shape after it's pumped? etc.

Excellent Foaming Hand Soap!
I prefer foaming hand soaps and believe it or not, I've tried several that I didn't like. Something seemingly as simple as foaming hand soap...how could you screw it up!? I think where some manufacturers go wrong is they try to do too much and botch things up. Just keep it simple and effective! Some didn't rinse clean, loaded with excessive moisturizers, that took way too long to wash off and still left my hands feeling slick. If my hands need moisturizing, I have lotion for that. Others were just plain overpowering with their smell or had citrus-based ingredients that dried my hands, especially in the winter. If I want to smell good, I have deodorant and a nice after shave for that.Puracy is an excellent product. It rinses clean, smells pleasant but isn't overpowering and doesn't dry out my hands. I even reuse the pump bottles from other brands and fill it with Puracy! The large bag is eco-friendly and I believe is a good value for the quantity and quality you get. I don't really smell the vanilla although it's listed in the ingredients. Nevertheless, it smells just right. I've now purchased a second refill bag and plan to continue using this fine product.
