Original RMF-TX621U Smart TV Voice Remote Control

Great price on a good remote. Worked right away, all buttons function well. The price was unbeatable. Had doubts but works well. If you have a Sony and the dog eats your remote, this is the way to go.

This is a remote that works perfectly with our Sony A80J OLED television. It matches the original Sony remote perfectly and seems to be well-made, while adding the very valuable feature of backlighting so that you can see the buttons in a dark room. It also helps having the black buttons set off against a gray background for better visibility. I was unsure of the purchase at the outset since the remote is not made by Sony, but in fact it seems a clear improvement over the original and well worth the price.

My original remote that came with my Sony 80J did not light up, and since I watch many shows in the dark, this was purchased right after my tv. It is very nice, feels solid and luxurious if that is possible for a remote. The illumination is enough for my old eyes, and I love that it senses movement to light up. If it dies, or gets broken I will spend the money on another one!

This is nice remote, way better than the stock one that comes with a X900H TV.Also the backlight is a game changer for nightviewing, and it's "Shake awake" activated.Syncing it blutooth wise is as simple as it get, point it at your TV, press the voice command button, then follow on screen set. Takes 10seconds, TOPS!

This remote comes with the Sony A90J series OLED TV. I purchased it to replace the remote on my Sony A80J OLED TV because it is has a back light. No need to press a button for the back light to come on. Just pick it up and the back light comes on. Perfect replacement. Just put the batteries in it and it’s automatically paired with my TV. Excellent product. Highly recommend.

Of course the dog bit the old remote I had, rendering it useless. So I stepped it up for a better remote. This thing is great and programmable to make even better. It has been super easy to use and works well. The buttons are responsive. Worth the price for the quality.

Like others I bought this remote to replace my A80J remote for one with a backlight. Remote works great, appears to be a genuine Sony remote and backlight turns on when you pickup the remote. Backlight isn't too bright but that's a good thing because it's just right, and I assume this also saves battery in the long run.Only thing I'd knock is that 4 of the buttons are circles and with the backlight you can only see the circle so have to memorize which button is which.

At first there was some confusion because the Sony remote they pictured on Amazon was not the exact same A90J remote. A few buttons had different names or symbols. In talking to the seller we both discovered they had the wrong photo on Amazon. It has since been changed (mid May 2022.) The product I got was the correct Sony RMF-TX621U product. Arrived in perfect condition and works great. I don't know why they list the brand as "Generic", this is a genuine Sony OEM product. (It comes without AAA batteries.)
