If i had a panel say 1'x2' and i put one of these on left and one on right. Could is still just left or just right on the panel?

Technically, yes. But the quality of sound will be quite poor. These drivers do not work very well together on the same panel because of interfering vibrations. You are also going to get better results with a panel at least 2’x2’. Not to say that a 1’x2’ panel won’t produce sound, it’ll just be better with the 1’x2’. I suggest you check out Tech Ingredients on YouTube. He’s done some rather in-depth testing with these drivers and I used his advice on my own project. Fantastic results can be had for a relative small amount of money.

Has anyone tried them on the back of tiles?

Go to the Dayton audio site they have a huge question and answer section. I’ve built 3 pair of HDF panel speakers with these and they sound awesome if you follow the instructions from the Dayton team Placement should be 3/5ths from the bottom up and 2/5ths from the side this eliminates distortion and sound wave cancelation Plywood works well also ceiling tiles work very good but you have to have the tile floating in order for it to really work

What size connectors fit the terminals on this unit?

3/16 inch female crimp on Use 16 gage speaker wire And don't solder instead because it will fail on any vibrating part.

Is this a subwoofer or can I use as a regular speaker?

It’s not a subwoofer it’s not a slpeaker it’s a resonator which need a vibrating surface like a styrofoam or cardboard.
