This isn't the first time this has happened to me over the years with different houses ive upgraded. I FORGOT TO CHECK the length of the hoses supplied which in this case is approximately 2ft. If your counter to hose shutoff is longer then you will need to go buy them. One of mine was 3 inches short. So now it will cost an extra $15 plus an hour of wasted time. BEWARE and measure first!
