Gates 19190 Premium Molded Heater Hose

I used this on a 1991 Mazda Miata and it worked great. Gates makes great quality products at affordable prices. I paid less than 1/2 of what Mazda wanted. The hose fit perfectly. I was able to reuse the stock clamps as they still had plenty of tension.***TIP - Cut the old hoses off as opposed to trying to pull them; the pipes are fragile.***

Perfect fit for the Miata heater core hose. Ripped my last one installing a header. This one is a great replacement, didn't even have to trim it.

I used this in my 2000 Miata, and it works perfectly for the engine into the heater core connection.If you've looked back there/replaced this before then you know it's a fairly esoteric hose shape in order to make the transition without kinking, but this pre-molded hose is almost an exact match for OEM, and 1/5th the price.

I noticed that this hose was slowly swelling over the years in my nb 2002 Miata and so I finally replaced it with this gates hose. The old hose that lasted 20 years is on the left & this replacement is on the right in the picture
