Fleischmann's Instant Dry Yeast, 2 pk./1 lb.

I like to make many kinds of yummy foods from flour and I need large amount of yeast. This 2 pk./1 lb product is a great solution to my needs. It works really well and produces good smell and flavor. With the unusually large amount of this deal, it is very economical, it lasts a long time and still works well - trick is to store it in refrigeration. It can serve you for years!

The Fleischmann's yeast was as it should be. I made cinnamon rolls with it the day after I received the yeast. They came out perfect.

Fresh yeast that works. My bread, using the same recipe for years, stopped working the last three times, using newly purchased commercial yeast from Sam's Club. That yeast, from Turkey, a commercial pack of 2 1lb packs, was dead during tests... even the unopened factory vacuum sealed package and 1.5 yrs left on use date. And it was kept in the freezer from time of purchase. This yeast was very active, and now the bread rises again. So beware of yeast, shipped a long way from Turkey. This yeast was made in Canada, and was very viable, with almost a full two years left on the use date. Yeast has but one purpose, and this does it. So this batch is in the freezer in a glass jar, and waiting for its next job of making dough light and raised.
