Bound to a Warrior (Warrior King Series Book 1)
I would give it a 4.5 stars. I liked both characters. They pretty much fall in love from the first. A lot of the book is them chained to each other outrunning the King's men. I am hooked on the series, and keep fighting to not peek to see which of the four brothers is the king, since I have all four books. I already have my option formed, by something one of them said in the book, and by the order of the books. However that could be something to throw you off. I waited to write this review until I started the second book as I was wondering why she did not include Duncan and Mercy's wedding in the book, as it just suddenly seemed to end. It would have been better to have the Epilogue be a brief chapter about their wedding and the couple then together afterwards expressing their love for each other. I thought maybe she covered it in the next book. She does not. The next book is a few months later.Sex content low/medium.

Epic cover.
Oh. My. God. Look at this cover. How could I not read it? The kilt! The glistening abs! The windblown hair and dress that’s one moment from completely sliding off! The handcuffs! The Mullet!! Rowr! I knew before even reading the story’s synopsis that I HAD to read this book (sweet Jesus that mullet!). Even if this was the worst written historical romance evah, that cover alone was worth the price. Unfortunately with the kindle I am no longer able to proudly display some of the works I’ve read epic covers, but just knowing this image lurked invisible to the outside world made me giggle at random times (look at that cover and try not to snick).Well it wasn’t the worst historical ever written, nor was it the best (that probably would have been too much anyhow, I would have been completely ruined for all time to any other historical as they never would have lived up to the pairing (great writing + great cover) that this book had). The writing was okay, a bit meandering, and the characters developed well. Of course since this is the first in a four book series (whose covers aren’t as epic – sad day) there are a crap load of questions and clues that pop up and never go anywhere. While I am faintly interested in reading the other three books (which are all out now), I’m not in a rush.

Bound to a Warrior
This Set of 4 books have been grate, even though I'm waiting for the last one to come out in Oct.I do wish how ever that someone would make it easier to know which way they go. I always seem to read at least one before the one I should have read first. No matter. This is a real good set of four well written books & I really like Donna Fletchers wirting manner.ADD ON: I have what appears to be the whole 4 book set, but I believe from where the last book left off the writer has another one up her sleeve & i hope it's true. These are some of the few that I have kept & will keep to read over & over again. They are great & I can't hardly wait to read the up coming addition. Awsome books, all 4 & hopefully 5 soon.

Great start to series
Engrossing start to this series with compelling characters and an intriguing plot. A few surprises are revealed and there is a lead in to the next book if you want to continue the story. I was not a fan of the cover, the models looked nothing like I pictured the characters.

My favorite Fletcher Book
I am not that critical of a reader. I don't make "lists" when I read telling me what I hated about a book, most of the time I just skip by the things that annoy me and try to enjoy the story. I really enjoyed this book. It was fast paced and interesting. I have read other books where the characters are "connected" together and they weren't done nearly as well as Fletcher did it here. It was believable and I loved both characters. Even though this story is a part of a "series", this one can be read as a stand-alone. This is in my "re-read" collection on my Kindle and I have re-read it many times. Loved it!

Beginning a new story!
This drama kept me involved to the end. What was so awesome was the depth of the drama each time I came back to read!

Great and fun story!
It’s always a joy to find a book that grabs me from the first chapter and has me seeking to read every free second I can find. I’m moving on to the next in the series and can’t wait to see how each of the brothers stories unfold. Highly recommend!

Mercy!
I was hesitant to read this book but so glad I did. I’m now heading to #2 and continue till the end . Donna Fletcher is wonderful at weaving history and fantasy together. Totally enjoying this!

My first historical romance
4.5/5 stars. This was a really great story and I loved it.Mercy is such a strong young woman, I loved her!The word coupling that came up several times that always made me cringe, like just call it something else… either way, that what made it a 4.5 star for me but the story in itself was great and I will read the next one to see who is the true King of Scotland.

Okay
Well when I first started reading this one I really thought i would be giving this book five stars but there are reasons why I won't. First off mercy has only just meet Duncan and she is okay taking off all of her clothes! really now, it's medieval England, this didn't ring true, I at least thought she might have had some modesty after all she was a virgin. Then later on the couple argue, Duncan is cross with mercy and she suggests they settle the argument after they have sex as they will both be more reasonable and he agrees just like that, I thought he was a warrior. It was an okay read, I thought I would be buying more from this author but sadly I won't.
