Will this shampoo and contioner turn you hair purple?

Only if used every time you wash your hair. If you actually want a purple tint, either leave the shampoo in or go wild and put the shampoo on dry hair, wait 15–20 minutes (I’ve gone longer) then wash it out as usual. Mine started out naturally white and turned lavender. It doesn’t permanently stain your hair, and clarifying shampoo or several washes with regular shampoo will remove the lavender. I also tried the Keraclean Rose Gold toning shampoo, but the brown tint stayed in longer than the rose. It was pretty though, and I got a lot of compliments! Live a little!

The product is purple and leaves your hair very white.

Much better and I expected!

Very pleased with this shampoo and conditioner. I'm more salt and pepper and wanted something to brighten up the color and improve the texture of my hair. Some of the purple sham/cond seems to almost color the hair which I didn't want. Took a chance on this. Usually after the first use your hair looks great but about the same after continual use. Each time I used it for the first week the texture and look improved. It's been almost 2 weeks and my hair still looks great. Will buy again.

Better for highlights

The purple shampoo and conditioner worked just okay. There was still a lot of yellow in my almost white hair. If I wasn't white haired I'd have highlights in my previously blonde hair and this would be a great product for brightening hands down. Took two stars off for that and it left my soft fine hair little dry.
