Great fan, was noisy, but can live with it.

This is the third one it brilliant very quiet needs to be as I work nights, with remote easy to use.

This has been prefect for my home office...Fairly well built and hangs off the wall really easy; it doesn't weigh too much and it's just as big as any other 16" fan, so I wouldn't worry about attaching it directly to plaster board, however I managed to attach it to a wall joist and it's not going anywhere.On the low setting, it's fairly powerful. It's pretty much turned my office into a wind tunnel! It's not as quiet as I first thought, however, for someone who's on the phone / teams a lot, it's not too bad if you've got a decent microphone and headset.For £40, it's probably a tiny bit more expensive than other 16" fans, but overall, I'm still really happy with it. It definitely keeps me cool during the 25°+ sunny days we Brits occasionally get!

4 month update:Rubbish, worryingly I was sitting in the same room as the fan and there was a weird noise. The fan's off but it was still sort of desperately struggling to start. I thought maybe I'd left it on and it had overheated... no I on/off and it worked fine. Turned it off and weird noises started again and it's struggling to turn even though it's off. So basically I can't switch it off anymore unless I actually unplug it. Fire risk anyone?Originally 4 stars:The body's a bit cheap and plasticky but the fan and cage are nice and solid. Has 3 speeds which are virtually indifferent; 95%, 99% and 100% speed it seems. All noisy, virtually no difference. No noisier than any other equivalent fan at top speed, just a shame that's the only option. Volume of air shifted nowhere near same as the Draper it replaced but it's doing a fair enough job.

Good product for use in outside kitchen. Easy to fit, not very noisy and does the job.

Air flow is good but noisy. Only intermittent setting is quite enough to sleep with. Bought for bunk beds. Fan pitch needs correcting to reduce air flow and noise from air friction.

Belaco remote control wall fan, very good value for money, and it does the job very well, and certainly looks the part too on my bedroom wall.. operates lovely with the remote control..and blows cold air extremely well on all 3 speeds....Very highly recomended
