Great message, POOR quality in Kindle
An avid Kindle user. I have purchased almost all of the CwG books and adjunct books and have been very pleased. In this Kindle version of "On Relationships: Applications for Living" although the message of the book was excellent and well received, the quality of the "book" in Kindle format was terrible. It appeared to be "photo" copies of the pages of the book. I call it very poor quality, at best. And yet the price ($10.66) gave me the expectation that it would be a high quality Kindle book. I was very disappointed in the price and the quality. Again, the message contained in the book were excellent. I believe I will now need to "pre-view" future books before I spend my money on this poor quality.

What do you bring to being a couple?
Having read all of Neale's books, this is an excellent "how-to" book to learn how to be in a relationship with someone you love. Probably, not what you might think, if you are not familiar with Neale's Conversations With God books...but if you would approach the one you love in the manner described in the book both of your lives will change dramatically for the good! As a marriage and family psychotherapist, I use this book frequently with couples to start their "homework" process. While it may feel a bit "new age" with references to God as "he" and "she," know that this is a reminder that God is not that white haired guy on the Cistine Chapel ceiling. Try it and then give it to another couple, pass it on.Holly K. Klein LSCSW/LCSW

One of my all-time favorite books...
I'm a huge fan of the Conversations with God collection and decided to give this book a go a couple years ago. It's a super quick read that documents what was discussed at one of his retreats and I absolutely love it. I re-read it periodically because it's always relevant--to ANY relationship you have with any human being. A solid and concise book of advice. Everyone should read it, definitely.

Practical Relationship Advice!
I love the "Conversations with God" books and this book is a great little synopsis of what he covers in the CWG trilogy. You don't need to have read the CWG books to understand what Walsch is teaching in this book though. I've given this book to many friends over the years to help them understand how amazing a healthy relationship can be!

The most useful book on relationships I've ever read.
While NDW books are ALL amazing & it would be difficult to pick a favorite... if I absolutely was pressed to, this is the most useful book on relationships I've ever read. Definitely not the same-'ol-same'ol.

Either a great book or a useless one depending on your personality
I love this author and he has a lot of good to say in his "Conversations with God" series, his other books are sort of hit or miss.Regarding this book:In life there are "givers" and there are "takers", (probably no one wants to admit they are a "taker.") Nonetheless, if you are a "taker", this is an excellent book for you on learning how to love and give more of yourself. That said, this is a dangerous book for a "people pleaser" personality, or a "giver" or a "co-dependent," as there is no discussion on self preserving boundaries. It's all about unconditional love.Frankly I worry about the reader who would take this advice to its logical conclusion and love without judgment a narcissistic partner. However, this would be an awesome book to hand to the partner!

Neale Donald Walsch on Relationships: Applications for Living
I like all of Neale Donald Walsch's books. He comes at 'what we already know' from a different perspective which confirms 'what we already know', and we find ourselves resonating with what he has written. He writes in a clear and concise, and factual manner by passing any airy fairy hyperbole. He's just great.
