I had a rough week with my 12yr old cat. He was not breathing well so I called my vet but they couldn't get him in for 3 weeks. I took him to another vet close to me and at first, they seemed to know what they were doing. However, after a scope where they had to put my cat under, they could find nothing wrong with him and offered an antibiotic in case it was an infection. They offered no other explanation to why he couldn't breathe very well. The next day he was really bad. He could hardly breathe (breaths were very shallow and noisy), and he was extremely lethargic. I called my vet and they got him in right away. They diagnosed him w/a heart murmur and possibly heart worms. (There is no test for heart worms for cats that work well as cats rarely get them). The vet said the only thing we could do was put him on a steroid, check him every 2 weeks and hope he outlives the worms. The steroids seemed to stabilize his breathing (it was still shallow and noisy but not getting worse) so for the first 2 weeks he was ok. The next visit the vet told me his lungs were more cloudy than the first time I brought him in (xray showed this). So she gave me a stronger steroid and said to bring him back in another 2 weeks. About 6 days later he started declining. I thought about an alternative form of therapy to get the inflamation in his lungs down and I found this product after a google search. It said it would take a week or 2 to kick in so I figured why not. It can't hurt right? After getting the ok from my vet, I overnighted it and put it to use right away. The first 2 weeks it didn't seem he was getting better. On the 3rd week he was so bad off I was considering putting him down because he could hardly breathe. I called my vet, that night and made an appointment for the next day to get him checked again and to talk to her about putting him down. Low and behold, that morning he perked up, he played a little bit, and his breathing got better. When I took him in that morning, the inflammation in his lungs was down, his blood levels were good and it seemed like he was on his way back to normal. We took him off the steroid and within 4 more days, he was back to himself. 2 weeks later, his lungs were clear. His breathing was still a little noisy but he was 90% better. I was thrilled and attributed his recovery to this product. I have now had my cat on this product for 5 months and he is perfect! I tried taking him off about a month ago, but his breathing started to get a bit shallow again. I put him right back on it and his breathing cleared right back up. I would recommend anyone with a cat w/breathing problems to talk to your vet about this product and use it. It save my cats life.

It works well for cat's with the sniffles i mix it in there soft food or water. One of my baby's had a eye that seemed to always be draining since I used this it's cleared that up too.

Did not work for me, have had repeat issues with upper respiratory infections. I had to put the cats on antibiotics eventually. And the cheap plastic bottle falls over too easy and spills. But the company is good so leaving a better review

This product is a many times repeat order by popular demand by my 16 year old cat. He is very enthusiastic about this product and will wake me if I'm asleep to make sure he receives it at the same time every morning. He also insists on a 2nd dose p.m. to prevent constipation.

My cat was diagnoses with asthma. However another vet said "allergies". I've used Zyrtec to control the coughing and hacking for whatever the lung issue is and I thought I would give this a try. Result - Made my cat cough MORE however it was a very PRODUCTIVE cough. Don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing. I mean really phelmy coughs that would go on for a few minutes. Not an asthma attack cause whatever the cat coughed up, he swallowed and went merrily on is way. I tried it for two weeks and directed on the bodx and it only seemed to make him cough every time the cat got up for a nap. Weird. Anyone got an explanation for that? Latent lung infection or something? Went back to Zyrtec but I might experiment with the use of both to see if whatever he has going on with the lungs is kicked out for good. (As for the vets - ask three vets, get three explanations. Don't know what to think.)

So I need to start by saying that I am so thoroughly impressed with this product. I tend to be skeptical of a lot of homeopathic products, worried most of it is snake oil but THIS STUFF WORKED for my cat! My cat for the past 6 months would have random asthma-like attacks randomly. We had taken him to a vet who said it was likely asthma and unless it gets worse not to worry about it. Great. Well about a week ago the coughs suddenly stopped and our normally friendly, loving cat went into hiding in the farthest reaches of our closet and would not come out unless we really enticed him to, did this for about a week non-stop. It was awful! Along with constant lip-licking and general lethargy. I was horrified! He was in clearly in pain/discomfort! I couldn't afford the vet bill right then so I desperately looked on Amazon for any type of pain relief for cats. Just wanting to give him something until we could have the vet come over. Low and behold I read reviews for this on a few websites and bought it. Followed the instructions for the amount of drops and added it to his wet food. THE NEXT DAY he was out and about, acting normal, being lovey and not hiding or being as lethargic! Interacting with us and the other cats again! Still no cough and some lip-licking but otherwise so normal! We have since had the vet over but this stuff really seemed to help him with what I suspect is lung inflammation, cause tbd. I will continue to use this product though since it seems to be helping him so much! It's worth a shot for sure! I have not seen any bad side effects so along with vet treatment, I am continuing to add to his wet food once a day.

They sent me a bottle with the original label on it that says it's for Blood Sugar. Then they stuck another label over the directions that says "Lung Gold for Cats" and the item has no directions. Beware of this product. The expiration date is cut off of the bottle I ordered. So no direction or proof it is Lung Gold for Cats and I can't return it per Amazon's policy. SHAME ON YOU, PET WELLBEING!

All I can say is WOW! In 2 days I seen a difference in my cats breathing, he had kind of a wheezy breathing pattern and now he’s breathing with no wheeze and he’s not snoring at night anymore, which he was starting to do every night. He’s about 15lbs so I gave him 15ml which is about 6 drops twice a day (mixed with his food morning 6 drops and evening 6 drops). He doesn’t have a problem with the flavor but he’s also not a picky eater by any means. I would highly recommend at least trying this product out. I’m so grateful a product like this exists. I do not recommend this in place for treatment for a vet. You should definitely still go get your pet checked out.
