I have used TP-Link products over the years and have had very good success with them and this is no exception. It works perfectly, was easy to install and setup was a breeze. I installed this on my Windows XP -32bit OS I plan to upgrade to the dual band here very shortly but just needed this to get me up and running.

It works perfectly on old computers or with connection problems on your integrated network card!! Easy installation!! Just put it in a USB port on the desktop and that's it!! As a recommendation, sometimes it is network number two and you have to configure it so that this is the default!

I got this USB WiFi adapter for my Beelink Mini PC that recently had WiFi hardware failure, which basically turned my Mini PC to a brick since you really can't do anything these days without internet. I tried to fix the Beelink Mini PC but was no use so decided to give this USB WiFi dongle a try before replacing the Mini PC with another one. I picked this one for price that was under $10 and the next day delivery, and it turned out to be a plug-N-play even though it came with an installation CD, which is no use for me as my Mini PC does not have a CD reader. It's tiny USB dongle that looks identical to my wireless mouse receiver and it worked flawlessly. I don't get the as fast internet WiFi speed on this but it works without any issue so I do recommend it. Hopefully, it will last for more than a year!

I use this in an industrial setting when I need to connect a computer to the internet via WiFi. The computers do not have on-board WiFi capabilities. I just pop this into a USB port and I have WiFi access in about 30-60 seconds. The dongle doesn't do a lot of heavy work, just connecting to a few websites to activate various programs. I don't download or upload any data. For this type of activity, it works great. The only issue I have encountered is that the computers have metal cases which interfere with the WiFi signal for this low profile dongle. I also purchased a 1 foot USB extension cord. With the dongle plugged into the cord, the problem goes away.

Very happy that this works with linux kernel out of the box, unfortunately internet speeds aren't great, but perhaps that is understandable for the small size.

Perfect for an old computer that has no WiFi capabilities. Had an old computer that had no more windows support since Windows 7. Installed Linux, put this adapter into the USB A port and saved the computer from the landfill. It runs very well on the internet with this USB WiFi adapter. The adapter works on Linux, Windows and Mac. It comes with a CD driver in case you can't get one before an internet connection. It is not super fast because it is USB 2.0 but its quick enough to do anything except maybe on-line gaming. Easier than running Ethernet cables if there is no wall jack close by. you don't need to disassemble your computer to install a WIFI card, just plug and play. Good price. Would buy again.
