10Ft Floor Transition Strip, Self Adhesive Carpet Edging Trim Strip, Threshold Strips for Threshold Height Less Than 5 mm (Grey)

I bought these because I have a cat who has an annoying habit of picking at my carpet at the edges. Although hard to cut when I needed them a shorter length, I was impressed. Not only did the transition from floor to carpet look nice, it was very easy install. I just peeled, stuck the adhesive end to the floor, and pressed down. What's even better is it will be easy to remove if I ever decide to sell my house or remodel. And yes, this product stopped my cat from picking at the carpet. :)

The adhesive is not the strongest if it’s going to be in a central place in the house that will be walked over often I suggest getting some gorilla glue double sided tape and replace whatever tape this comes with. Other than that in the spots that are not being walked all over are holding up great and they make my house look nicer. I love them!

So far it’s been good and stuck to the floor. You need to roll it out flat for awhile so the edge doesn’t lift. I cut off excess with a box cutter, did not like the finish look.

The product went down easily, and worked well for about two weeks, then the tape completely peeled off of the product itself and was a pain to remove from the floor.

Professional looking and sturdy.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:. Thought it would stick but wouldn't stick and stay on carpet but would the concrete

I have a doorway at work where people kept tripping from the loose carpet edges to the linoleum transition of one room to another. I was worried that this strip only has sticky tape on one edge of the strip, not the entire width of the strip, and thought maybe it would not adhere to the carpeted side of the doorway. It works great! Sticks and adheres smoothly and looks professional, and more importantly is now not a safety hazard. With 10" on the roll, I have enough left over to do at least one more door later on.
