I ordered this set of struts a couple of years ago, and they have worked perfectly. Now my wife's 2013 RX350 needs a replacement. I've had such a good experience with the first set that I've ordered them a second time. Good quality and price, and easy to install.

I purchased the same brand for myliftgate and was very satisfied with the product. They don't come with instructions, but there are plenty of available installation instructions online. Basically, take something to support the hood, use a medium sized screwdriver to remove the C shaped retainer rings, and the strut simply pops off by pulling it off the ball and sockett attachment points. The installation is very quick and easy once you see how to do it. Some people recommend cleaning off the ball mount and applying some white lithium grease to it. If you don't have that, I would just leave the existing factory grease as is. It don't come with any grease. I hope this was helpful. Highly recommend product. The hood stays up in its fully opened position with no issues.

Good price for a functional, easy-to-install product

Easy to replace, exact fit and function. Use white lithium grease, eases installation. A helper to hold the hatch open makes the process much easier. There are many YouTube videos that demonstrate the removal and installation.

Much cheaper than Lexus and made just as well easy to install . My wife put on her 2014 Rx350

These work grate and they're easy to install. So glad my hood doesn't fall on my head anymore. Look well made, can't comment on durability.
