The source hose is very nice because it has less spilling when changing hoses compared to camelbak hoses. The hose is a bit stiff, and not very long, but the angled mouthpieces source makes make up for that a little. I bought the hose because I had a fold in my other one, and they're all interchangeable. Pro tip: I managed to fix the other hose by getting it really hot and pliable, and then while holding the bent part in shape running cold water though it. Repeat how ever many times you like.

I bought this not really to replace but rather to add a section of tubing because of how far back my hydration bag was in an infant carrier. It worked perfect.
