How do you remove the old one from the CoolFuel module? Does it just pull right out?

Yes - remove the clip with a screwdriver- then just pull forward on it.....

Replaced GM # 12568878 on my 2005 VP 5.0 GXI-E would probably fit lots of VP & Mercury chevy V-8 in those years it's a Chevy Part !
