Q: $3,498.92 why the price hike Samsung? seems like a rip-off to me

It's a third party selling it over price because of projected demand (aka scalper). Check other sellers and you'll find Amazon listing at the same 2500 as before.

Q: Why is this labeled 4k uhd when the model ls49ag952nnxza is only dqhd (5120x1440p)?

There are 19 different Odyssey Gaming Monitors all in the G series. Amazon listings and the specs associated with them are all jumbled up on some Amazon listings. Samsung makes 3 each 4K models (as of July 2023) and only 1 of them is 4K @ 240hz and that is the Odyssey Neo G8 (3840x2160 @ 240hz) model number LS32BG852NNXGO. The other 2 are NOT at 240hz in spite of the descriptions you find sometimes in Amazon and all over the web. Also, on the Samsung website you may find the G8 in the business monitors and not the gaming monitors. I hope this clears up some confusion brought on by sellers not paying attention to manufacturer specs and buyers not paying attention to model numbers and confirming the stats with the manufacturers site.

Q: What’s the difference between qled and mini led? and which one is the nvidia sync?

Both G9's have G-sync capabilities. Mini Leds in this panel are setup in 11 zones and are able to dim according to picture images. This also allows for deep blacks. I compared both the NEO G9 and the G9. I spent the extra 1K on the NEO as the images were just amazing. Period!
