OVERALL: As far as I can tell, Gloves in a Bottle lives up to everything they claim it does. It works great for me. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone.MOISTURIZING: If you follow the instructions for this product (i.e. completely dry your hands before applying), it works wonders. My hands crack and bleed in winter, yet if I use Gloves in a Bottle, not only do I prevent the cracking, bleeding, and chapping, but I also get softer, smoother, healthier skin.One of my favourite things about Gloves in a Bottle is that it's not greasy - at all! I do a lot of crafts with paper, yarn, and fabric, and do not want grease stains on the finished projects. This shielding lotion not only shields my hands from environmental bombardments, but shields my projects from ruin. That is a win-win for me. Even if I didn't do crafts, I can't stand having greasy hands. So, to have dry, yet moisturized, hands within seconds of applying Gloves in a Bottle makes it a must-have for me. It's also really nice to not have to reapply it after every hand-washing (unless I use exfoliating soap).SCENT: There is little to no scent. I am extremely sensitive to scents, both man-made and natural. I cannot use most lotions because my breathing is affected, as well as breaking out in rashes. With Gloves in a Bottle, when I first squeeze a small amount (and you only need a small amount) onto my hand there is a faint smell. I've heard others describe it as almost a school-glue smell; I don't feel that's quite accurate, but it's the closest I can get in description. Upon rubbing it into my skin, the smell dissipates and is gone when dry. I love that I can touch my face right after using it without any allergic reaction.VALUE: Because this is one of the very few lotions I can actually use (and my preferred one) it is well worth the cost. When you take into consideration what most "good" lotions with healthful ingredients cost, it beats them for certain.

This hand lotion is a dream come true! It leaves my hands feeling soft, smooth, and hydrated without that annoying sticky or greasy feeling. It absorbs quickly, so I can go about my day without worrying about smudging everything I touch.I also love the light, pleasant scent—it’s subtle but really nice. A little goes a long way, which makes it great value, too. If you’re looking for a hand lotion that truly works and feels amazing, this one is a must-have. My hands have never been happier!

I’ve tried multiple products just trying to calm my skin allergies and allow my skin breakouts to heal. Eucerin works really well for moisture/healing but has not protected me from getting more skin irritation or itchy breakouts. I’ve also tried many of the therapy bandages but I’ve also become sensitive to them as well, creating itchy skin around and under the patches. This product has been the most protecting for me and I will definately use it going forward. My only issue is that while it’s very protective, reducing new skin reactions, it does not moisturize as much as I would like. My skin still looks and feels dry. I need moisture to help heal old breakouts. I’ve discovered that applying a heavy moisturizer such as the Eucerin, allowing it to absorb and then layering this overtop works the best for my needs. Looking forward to having less itchy skin!

I first was introduced to their partner product, Skin Md. That shielding lotion is the bomb and I make it my mission in life NEVER to run out of it. That said, since I was so impressed with the company I was more than willing to try Gloves in a Bottle. Gloves in a Bottle is really fabulous as well. While I don't use it on my face, I love it as a hand and body lotion. It has been a lifesaver in keeping my hands healthy in the midst of frequent hand washing. Being a shielding lotion, it is what goes under any moisturizer I might put on my hands or body. It's not greasy and it doesn't just sit on top of my skin. I find it very calming as well. There is no scent so it doesn't interfere with any scent I might choose to wear. The travel bottles are a nice size and easy to carry. It doesn't take a lot to experience skin nirvana. This lotion doesn't break me out or feel itchy. Highly recommend. I have received no discount or promotion for my review of this product. I purchased it at full price and my opinion is my own.

I give the actual lotion 5 stars, and the order arrived as pictured (1 large, 1 small, 1 pump). Sadly, the pump doesn't work at all (which is why I docked my rating down to 2 stars). The inclusion of the pump was the only reason I placed this specific order, so I'm quite disappointed. I'm not sure if I just got a defective one or if this is a recurring problem, but I'd happily revise my rating if the company would send me a new pump!But again--the actual lotion is amazing. I have OCD, and lotions bring up a weird sensory thing for me. Every brand I tried prior to this made made me feel like I was covered in grease, and I usually ended up washing it off immediately to get rid of the sensation.My aversion to lotion became a big problem this winter with the dry air. The skin on my hands was extremely painful and would crack and bleed if I merely made a fist. The compulsive hand washing aspect of my OCD combined with my hatred of lotion just made matters worse. Upon someone's suggestion, I reluctantly tried Gloves in a Bottle and was pleasantly surprised to fall in love with it. Sometimes, I even prefer the feeling of having it on my hands (after it soaks in) compared to not having any lotion on, which says a lot! It truly has a different feel than any other lotion.If the price dissuades you, I'd suggest going to their website and using the store locator. The craft store near me had some little sample packs to try before committing to a bigger bottle.
