Quality gate latch. U/S Screws.
Great heavy duty gate latch. Unfortunately the screws that are supplied are not of the same quality in my OPINION. Pic 2. Luckily I had some replacement screws in stock. Pic 1 + 3 .

Great item
Great item, works well. I had to use stainless steel screws as the ones supplied rusted very quickly.

Missing catch from assembly ☹️
Product itself was good quality, however a crucial part of the gate lack is missing from the order. I have contacted the supplier who has yet to get it touch with me to date, so the entire product is useless to me now. So I able unable to fit it. Attention to detail prior to shipping equals zero customer complaints.

Broken
I’m in Canada and ordered this item because it is cast rather than cheap pressed steel like the crap that’s available in North America. The look and feel of the item was very good but the thumb latch bar was broken in half at the pivot. I discovered to return the item Amazon would only reimburse a part of the cost. That along with the hassle of the return made me choose to make a new bar myself and it’s now working well. I believe the latch was broken in transit as it was packed in an envelope rather than a box. If the packaging had been done properly and the latch arrived undamaged, or if I could have exchanged it at no extra cost to me, I would have rated it 4 or 5 stars.

A persistent problem with an old solution.
My back gate would shrink in the summer and expand in the winter. The gate was fitted with a mortise lock that proved inadequate in the summer. This old solution fitted my requirements perfectly. It’s utilising of a pin to lock the gate when required again a simple solution. The lock’s rustic style fits squarely with my style.

Do not buy if using outside
Absolutely useless, brags it can be fitted to sheds but ours has been fitted for 2 weeks outside, with very little rain and starting to rust already…avoid if possible
