Great for kids with severe muscle weakness!
This is exactly the product I've been looking for! My daughter has a severe degenerative muscle disease and she's been getting frustrated with the switch pro controllers. The resistance is too strong for her to move in all directions and the buttons were becoming hard for her to press. We had to make creative use of the mapping function since she could not make use of the trigger buttons. This controller solved all of those problems instantly. Hearing her cheer at being able to move around much easier and play her favorite games again makes it all worth it! Great product!

Great value for a disability-friendly controller.
Other than occasionally seeming to lose its pairing to our Switch, it works great. The form factor is great for small hands and all buttons are reachable with the controller flat on the table. Battery life is probably as good as you'd expect for such a small unit.. I've never logged details but for sure we can get several multi-hour sessions out of it before charging. Buttons are just a little more "mushy" than I'd like, but they're all accurate and responsive. Sticks similarly are "loose", a lot like the joycon sticks (just a tad smaller) but again precise, and (thus far) drift free. I'd have been happy to find anything at all with this size/design, but quality for the price here seems a good value.

Great idea, horrid button & joystick inputs. Constantly drops inputs
great concept for a controller, I personally have small hands so the size is fineI purchased this to use on the switch since I cannot connect their Xbox version of this product to other consoles.Unfortunately the controller doesn't have great inputs, and constantly misses or doubles up on button presses. This is true of all inputs & joystick, where occasionally inputs will stop or doubletap on one press. Holding an input also has issues.I find it hard to recommend because of this. You will have to deal with frustration in exchange for easier presses.

A solid gamepad for gamers with limited mobility!
Pros:• Multi-platform compatibility• 20-hour battery life• Rumble• Motion controls• L3 and R3 are still usable on the analog sticks• Increased sensitivity for thumb sticks and face buttons• Rubber pad to keep it in placeCons:• New button layout takes some getting used to• Turbo function exclusive to D-Input mode• Not compatible with ultimate software for button remapping and macros• Shoulder and triggers are not accessible on both sticks and buttons• Motion controls can't be used on a flat surface8bitdo's Lite SE is a controller designed for gamers with limited mobility. It shares similar features as the Lite 2, including multi-platform compatibility, 20-hour battery life, and rumble and motion controls, but with accessibility-friendly changes. The new button layout converts the dpad, shoulder, trigger, and thumbstick into dedicated buttons, and the thumbsticks and face buttons require less force to use. The controller also has a rubber pad underneath to keep it in place. The increased sensitivity makes it feel snappy and responsive. However, it's surprising that the controller is not compatible with the ultimate software for button remapping and macros. L3 and R3 are accessible on both the sticks and buttons, but the shoulder and trigger buttons could use the same treatment. Additionally, motion controls don't work when the controller is on a flat surface. Overall, the Lite SE is a worthwhile option for those looking to enhance accessibility in gaming. Great job 8bitdo!

Amazing little controller!
Awhile ago my husband & I found this controller on Amazon. It said it's was designed specifically for users with limited mobility, so it's very compacted together into a very small unit, & the shoulder buttons are on the front with your other buttons, A B X Y etc. The shoulder buttons perk alone were enough reason for my husband to insist we pre-order it. He wanted an option for me to have of playing any games requiring shoulder button use without having to use my fancy Quad stick handsfree controller, so that I could play laying down, on days when my back hurts. Which most require anymore, so he didn't like my game options being so limited. It arrived a week ago, & I finally had a chance to try it. This thing is way cooler than expected. In addition to all the buttons in front, all the buttons are super clicky. Very sensitive to the touch, which really helps with comfort. My favorite part though? IT HAS BUTTON MAPPING. Yep, I can arrange the buttons however I please, exactly the same way you can with the joycon's settings. But this thing is a more comfortable use. I liked my joycons fine, so I didn't expect it to feel even better to me. I highly recommend this controller.

Very nice for pc games without controller support and emulated fighting games
Using for Battletech and it works awesome on switch mode and and steam controller support. Very nice for any none fps games. Just can say how well it works. A little bit bigger would be cool. But honestly it works great the way it is. Wonderful for 6 button fighing games. So much better than the shoulder buttons for six button fighting games. This is the controller for games that don't require a trigger pull or scope for aiming. Just can not convey how awesome this is for PC on the couch. It will take some set up in steam controller settings but it is way worth it. Seriously anything other than fps it is perfect for

Traction Pad is Hit or Miss
The 3 stars is about the traction. The pad on the back for traction is non-removeable, which would be fine if it prevented sliding forward on most surfaces. It also means for people with flexible hands, you feel harsh edges on the pad.I find that it doesn't prevent sliding for the way I press on buttons for rhythm games. Also, for games like Danmaku Kagura, map the buttons in a wide arc and then turn the controller upside down when you start a song. It makes for a very comfortable mini arcade controller! It keeps battery well and is great for shmups.
