Very pleased with this product so far. I have been using it for 2 weeks on the incisions from my tibial plateau fracture surgery. I was a little hesitant about the advertised suggestion that it could be washed and reused. It is absolutely accurate. I have had no trouble reusing the tape strip for up to seven times. The sites have responded well without irritation. I am hopeful that long-term, the scarring will be minimal having used this. Though not recommended specifically by my surgeon, my nephew works with a renowned group in New York City and said they recommend this all the time with great success.

This is my 2nd time buying this. I tried to get a cheaper tape but it peeled off and was itchy so I came back to this one for my reduction and lift scars. It stays on and I really liked it. Not itchy or bothersome at all. I am going to continue buying this one. As for if it works - hard to say because I had a delay and had to use if after radiation. Wish I would have used earlier after surgery was completed. My friend’s mom used this particular product soon after surgery and had a good outcome.

I purchased these strips a couple of years ago--and again a couple of months ago--and the quality has definitely gone down hill. The new strips are thinner, the adhesive side is less effective and peels away (especially at the edges when cut) much more readily, the strips are also harder to remove without damaging them, and the longevity of the strips is significantly diminished resultantly.At first I thought it was a "buy more" gimmick when I noticed the newer box was labeled that the enclosed strips were a 1-month (30 day) supply, but given the relatively poor quality this is not surprising as these strips will not last. The previous box, with the same number and size of strips, stated that it was a 2-month (60 day) supply, which was accurate given the significantly better quality.Simply put, this product's quality is becoming substandard and I'd recommend researching and purchasing another brand.

I had a skin graft taken from my chest for my wrist. The scar on my chest was quite ugly and not flush with the surrounding skin. A nurse recommended I use scar tape. My first thought was that this was a "snake oil" kind of thing but internet search seemed to say that scar tape was helpful. It does take several weeks, but once it's on you don't even notice it's there. Also, you can take it off to shower and then put the same piece back on. The scar tape has absolutely improved my scarring and I am continuing into week 5 a very happy camper."

I had been using just a scar gel by itself but it wasn't producing any more results after 3 months of usage so I started using this (and applying some scar gel under it before bed) and I've seen a noticeable further reduction in the appearance of a scar I'm treating. It really, really helps to keep it on and covered 23.5 hours a day. I've been re-using the pieces I've cut and they definitely last the advertised 5 days of reuse, possibly a bit longer.If you have a scar definitely get this, adding scar gel to this would likely increase the effectiveness but I'd prefer this product over the gel if I had to choose just one.
