So I have a 2 year old. Who likes hitting stuff. Not people really, but stuff. Her toys, furniture and occasionally herself. So I thought "get her something her talents would appreciate." A drum. This drum is very similar to the first drum I learned to play, albeit small and much more colourful. The price was perfect, the size is perfect for her. The sound quality or the center is a bit flat, probably due to the small surface size, but the sides and edges are palatable, even good for the price. The build feels decent. All in all an excellent purchase.

I love my Djembe Drum! Perfect size, drum head, excellent, body contour easy to use Under Arm or between knees! Fits nicely in a beach bag! Play professionally or just be the life of the party!

I got this to keep my 1-year-old from banging her hands on the garbage. When I bought this, she knew what to do with it. I am a musician, so I didn't want to get her a plastic toy drum. I wanted something I could use too. So I'm happy with it. One major complaint is the bottom ridge has a foam coating for padding the bottom, which is great, but it was all dirty with sand. Like the people who made it just had it outdoors on the ground. The first one was so dirty I returned it, I thought it was used. When I got the second one, it was dirty, but figured it was "factory" dirt.

It is the perfect size for my 1 yr old grandson. I'm impressed on the craftsmanship. It would also be a nice decorative piece in my living room to go with my international theme since it is so small.

I was so looking forward to giving my Grandson this drum. But when it arrived, it was not only scratched up, but the top of it looked like a baby had been eating lunch on it. Nasty! Probably full of germs, so I sent it back.

it’s much smaller then I thought.the quality is great, it sounds very good. the size of it is on me I didn’t read the description very well.

Fantastic quality real drum. My child loves playing it!
