Great Product! Easy to open your rear seat that you could not do without this
I’m extremely impressed with this product! Before installing it, the area behind my rear seat was completely inaccessible and basically wasted space. Now, thanks to this clever upgrade, I can easily open the rear seat and make full use of that hidden storage area. It’s perfect for keeping tools, gear, emergency supplies, or anything else you want out of sight but still within reach. The installation process was a breeze. The included instructions were clear, detailed, and easy to follow—even if you're not mechanically inclined. I had it installed in no time with basic tools, and it worked flawlessly right from the start. The build quality of the product feels solid and well-designed, and it fits perfectly without any modifications. It looks like it could’ve come straight from the factory. I also appreciate how it doesn’t rattle or loosen over time, even with regular use.If you own a truck and want to take full advantage of every bit of space, this is a must-have upgrade. It’s simple, affordable, and makes a big difference. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to maximize the utility of their vehicle!Practical & Clear:Must-Have Upgrade for Unlocking Rear Seat StorageTransforms Wasted Space Into Usable StorageEasy Installation – Makes Rear Seat Storage AccessibleEnthusiastic & Impactful:Game-Changer for Rear Seat Access!Hidden Storage Unlocked – Totally Worth It!Brilliant Addition – Like It Came From the FactoryShort & Catchy:Hidden Space, Now Useful!Simple Fix, Big BenefitWhy Didn’t I Buy This Sooner?

Every F150 Owner Needs This!
Probably one of the best things you can get for your truck. Before I purchased this, it was difficult for me to access the back of the seat without jamming my arm down in the back to unlatch it, now I’m able to access the hidden storage behind the back seat with ease with a pull of a tab.I got the red strap so that I can see it right away when it’s in darker conditions. Would be cool if they ever make a glow in the dark version.Installation wise, it was super easy to install and only takes a couple minutes if you have the right tools. The package came with everything you need to install and the build quality is amazing and quite sturdy. I didn’t even have to bend or modify anything.I can finally keep all of my tools and gears that I want that are out of sight but still accessible when in times of need.

Very Functional, Well Made, Easy Install
This handy gadget makes you wonder why Ford doesn't just add this to their truck from the factory. There is a latch that allows the rear driver side rear seat back to be pulled forward but no easy way to get to it, this solves that issue. Granted, there isn't a ton of room back there, but there's enough to store a tool kit or similar items. The installation is pretty straight forward and can be done quickly using basically just one tool. The trickiest part is initially finding and pulling up on the latch pin so you can put the seat back down to install this item. The end of the latch pin is on the right hand side of the latch mechanism facing the rear passenger door (circled in red in the attached picture). Don't try and look for it on the left hand side of the latch. Once you locate and pull up on the latch pin using the closed end of any smaller wrench (I used a 10mm but you can use pretty much any size) the rest is easy. You remove the two factory torx bolts holding down the latch assembly, attach the supplied strap to the pin, install the frame of this item over the factory latch mechanism, put the latch assembly back in it's spot and reinstall the bolts. That's it. It's important to remember that this item goes on top of the existing latch mechanism not under it. There is a long notch that allows you to slide the frame over the factory latch. The fin looking portion of this item butts up close to the end of the pin so the strap doesn't slide off the end. The materials are sturdy and of high quality. Pretty simple concept but a great addition to your truck.

Every Ford SuperCrew owner should have this.
The package was delivered complete and in excellent condition. I watched the YouTube install video the company posted and it took about five minutes to install. Works perfect! Ford should have sent it from the factory with this installed. I have the full B&O sound system so there is not much room for storage but having the easy access is well worth the price.

Very worthwhile! Something so simple, should’ve been done from the factory
Great little add on for your Ford truck to give you easy access to wasted space. Something so simple, yet can’t figure out why Ford wouldn’t just put this little pull cord on in the first place. Great product.

Works great. Not sure why this isn't a standard piece.
Great product. It was very easy to install, just make sure you have the T30 bit to remove the screws in the back of the seat. Now I can access the area behind the backseat. The lanyard sticks above the seat about an inch, but it is very easy to grab.NOTE: The seat may not stay catch the first few times when you try to put the seat back. The latching mechanism was tight and I had to work with it a little bit to loosen the everything up for it to work correctly. They mention this in the install video as well.
