Q: Can you actually hear out of these?? All the kids size headphones we've tried have such a low volume you can barely hear anything in them

these headphones don't have a volume limited, the sound is like a adult headphone, at 108db

Q: Is this suitable for 10 year old boy? He would like to use them for school.

My son is 8-year-old. Fit well. Size can be adjusted. I think fit most kids and adults.

Q: Do they work with computers? Bought a different pair that did not work with computers for school

Yes, if you have a small hole (standard headphone jack) in your computer, then you are good. :) It will not work if trying to plug into a USB port.

Q: Does these work with Kindle and Chromebooks?

It should work unless they have a weird or different aux input adapter. We've used ours on phones, tablets etc. It's a pretty standard adapter.
